In this episode, Giselle and Julia chat about everything from poetry to BeReal to Julia using e-scooters at inopportune times. And awkward dates! Then Giselle sits down with a longtime friend and artist, Andrea Gochez Wilson.
Andrea is a multidisciplinary artist focused on ceramics/textiles/beadwork. Originally from Pasadena, California, Andrea grew her craft in Portland, Oregon, and now she lives in Malaga, Spain. This episode is just Julia and Giselle, and they are both in a giggly mood. The duo laugh about birthdays, free drinks, shapewear, and home ownership. They also delve into life's biggest questions: Is Instagram over, is 2010 back, and should Giselle move back to the Big Easy?
We need more guests! If you know anyone that does not have a typical 9-5 job, pls dm us on Instagram at @livingbutdifferently
In this episode, we welcome Jaedin Celeste, aka @cholafairy. She is a dear friend but also a spiritual advisor, bruja, tattoo artist, and cosmetologist. We had an amazing conversation with her this week about spirituality, art, and the ancestral ties to her practice.
Are you excited about this solo episode? YOU BETTER BE! The duo had way too much fun galavanting in the city where everyone lives differently. Julia and Giselle may have walked 30 miles around New Orleans and maybe had too many cocktails this weekend...but that's not stopping them from chatting about their reunion, French men, Love is Blind Season 2, the democratization of celebrity, psychic readings, and much more!

Meet Donnel & Ian. This duo has been cultivating a friendship like no other for almost a decade. After experiencing hardship caused by the pandemic, Donnel and Ian decided to start a new business in beautiful floral arrangements and installations in the Bay Area.
“The most beautiful aspect about flowers is that they’re not meant to stay. We honor that beauty, ground ourselves with what empowers us to be our best, and that serves as our inspiration in our creativity and our work. This is our ‘Flower Chapter’. A chapter of our adventures filled with all the good vibes and love of our ongoing and extraordinary tale of mentorship turned brotherhood. We may not know what’s exactly ahead but we’ve always known how to bring the best out in each other. We’re riding that vibe and enjoying all the beauty and fun times that bloom along the way.”

SHE BURNT BEYONCÉ'S CAKE! Meet our next guest: chef, small business owner, cooking instructor & our favorite dessert connoisseur, Samantha!
"Growing up my mom was the cake lady of the area where we lived. For years I saw her put together birthday cakes, weddings cakes, and dessert bars. Around the age of 16, I started to help my mom out with these orders. With no professional experience, I started taking on orders around 19 while I was in school for nursing. That was always a dream but by the age of 20, I toured a culinary school sat in class, and fell in love with the cooking world. After graduating from culinary school two years later, I worked for high-end hotels and was exposed to a whole new side of cooking. Dealing with celebrities left and right and working insane hours. After the hotel, I helped open a restaurant for a Michelin star chef which was incredible. I stayed there for a little while until I got a job offer at my dream job working for wolf gang puck at Spago. In 2020 I landed my current job being a chef instructor and doing my own dessert business on the side."
Meet Salem, psychedelic artist & guest of episode 4. In this episode, we dive into identity, insecurity, hope, trauma, and finding yourself.
“I’ve always loved art on all levels of media. I’ve been creating this type of art for about 4 years now. Each piece is very personal on some level. I call the eyes I draw lil critters. I draw and transform my trauma into art. I also do poetry. That and art are probably my greatest and most vulnerable releases and sources of growth in this world. And I’m so grateful for it to be seen as beautiful.”
