In 2016 I had my first breakdown in a foreign country, which left me feeling alone and very afraid. A diagnosis (which I STILL struggle with) and six years later I've been working to put myself back together again and rediscover who I really am. In the Life and Minds podcast, join me as I share my story and have conversations with those I love and admire on mental health. You can expect laughter, a tear or two and lots of acapella singing (by your girl herself). New episodes every Monday. I'd love to hear from you - send me an email at lifeinmindsthepod@gmail.com or catch me on insta @lifeinmindsthepod.

Today’s episode is about 7 hangovers I experience following each manic episode and my cures for them.
The hangovers are:
1. Hyper-vigilance around sleep
2. Loss of self confidence
3. Lack of self-trust
4. Fearing/discounting your natural talents and abilities
5. Feeling broken/damaged because of your diagnosis
6. Fear of changing routine/status quo
7. Fear of spirituality
These are some of the not great side-effects that come with losing your mind (at least for me) but the good news is you can move past them! I’ll be giving you the tools I used and am hopeful they will be useful to you too.
As always I’d love to hear from you so…
