Greetings, everyone; in this episode, I have a special guest Dr Christal Asong whom I had the privilege of knowing via one of the Jay Shetty Genius meetups in Kuala Lumpur. She is a former medical doctor, a best-selling author, a certified life purpose coach, trainer, speaker, and founder of Awaken Academy. Her best-selling book, "Should I Quit? 5 Steps to Discover Work You Are Meant to Do and Live Your Purpose", is on sale now. You can purchase the book via this link. She prides herself on being a self-reliant go-getter raised to be self-assured. Christal has put in a lot of effort and followed all the regulations: obtained outstanding grades, attended the best medical school in the nation, graduated, and started a prominent profession as a doctor. She appeared to have things "figured out" on the surface. But with time, another element crept in: a feeling of inner emptiness. Christal experienced a quarter-life crisis, which left her feeling lost, confused, disappointed, unhappy, trapped, and helpless. She then realised she was sacrificing her well-being to achieve someone else's aspirations. Realising that things must change, she embarked on a journey to discover her "Ikigai". This episode will go deep into Christal's journey of discovering her life purpose after quitting the job which she aspired to be while growing up. Hopefully, Christal's sharing will inspire many people who want to change jobs and discover their true calling. Enjoy the episode. Releasing simultaneously on Spotify and YouTube. Welcome to my third episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing Season 2. I appreciate your willingness to check out my content, and I hope you will find it meaningful and worth sharing. I apologize for being quiet for the past 3 weeks as I was on vacation in Down Under, Australia. I felt the vacation was a timely one as I felt rather jaded and exhausted after a long, tedious schooling year of 2021 which got extended to February this year. Now that I am back, feeling energized, revitalized and ready to continue my journey of the year 2022. This episode will be a podcast interview with a fellow senior from JSCS, Priscilla Barrios. Priscilla is a Jay Shetty Certified Coach, who focuses on the importance of becoming the authentic self. She truly believes in the life of free will and guides her clients towards that as well. This episode may be an eye-opener to some of you, so make yourself comfortable, sit tight and enjoy this episode.

This episode will be another solo episode where I will be talking about pertaining topics related to anti-discrimination. By the time this episode gets published, it would be the eve of Valentine's Day. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all lovebirds who are listening to this episode a blissful Valentine's Day. May the love prosper and progress daily for all couples. For singles out there like me, don't feel glum. We can always look forward to the Day after Valentine's Day, February 15, as it is Single's Awareness Day, or we can wait nine months for Single's Day.
However, Valentine's Day is not all lovey-dovey, flamboyance of expensive gifts, love in the air. To keep true to the purpose of this podcast, anti-discrimination, I searched Google with the terms of Valentine's Day discrimination. Suddenly, this article in NPR written by Linda Poon caught my attention. I found it worthy of being featured as a podcast episode. Global activists regard February 14 as V-Day. V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against women, girls and the planet. V-Day believes that when art and activism come together, they have the power to transform systems and change culture. V-Day is a movement and an example of the power of art as a liberating tool for transformational holistic education and social justice. Are you intrigued to hear more? If yes, this episode is for you. So sit back and stay tuned.

Welcome to my fifth episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing Season 2. I appreciate your willingness to check out my content, and I hope you will find it meaningful and worth sharing.
This episode will be another solo episode where I will be talking about pertaining topics related to anti-discrimination. In the previous episode, we looked into the power of music to fight discrimination. Being a big fan of AR Rahman, music comes naturally to me as I grew up listening to AR Rahman's music. The list of songs mentioned in the previous episode is not exhaustive, as I have more songs to tune in to look for inspiration. Thus, I will share more inspiring songs in my future episodes. Come to think of it, it is just like having my extraordinary playlist – Yuva's Extraordinary Playlist.
As promised in the previous episode, I will dedicate the entire episode to one song I turned to during one of the roughest periods in my life. The song I meant was Nenjae Yezhu (Lift your Heart). Kutti Revathi penned the song, and AR Rahman, composed and sung the song himself. Combining inspiring words and uplifting music, you get a work of art. For those who also liked this song just like I do, this will be a treat for you. So, grab your earphones, sit back and enjoy this episode.

Welcome to my fourth episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing Season 2. I appreciate your willingness to check out my content, and I hope you will find it meaningful and worth sharing. I apologise for the delay in releasing this episode as I had just returned from a family vacation. This episode will be another solo episode where I will be talking about pertaining topics related to anti-discrimination. In the previous episode, we looked into a method I have applied to come out of feeling discriminated, the 3Cs to success. In this episode. I will be sharing another technique I use to combat discrimination, the power of music. I am a big fan of AR Rahman. AR Rahman or Allah Rakha Rahman is a legendary Indian music composer born in Chennai. He was born AS Dileep Kumar, the eldest son of 4 siblings. I am sure many of you may recognise AR Rahman from his double Oscar swoop for the movie Slumdog Millionaire in 2008. His famous quote, Ellam Pugazhum Iraivanukke or All credit goes to the Almighty won over thousands of hearts as he credits all his fame and success to God, despite doing all the hard work by himself. This exemplary trait of humility sets him apart from many successful people. But do you know, his musical genius was known to the Indian sub-continent ever since his debut movie Roja back in 1992? His birthday was on January 6th, about three weeks ago. So, AR Rahman, sir, if you are listening, I wish you a belated birthday and continuous success in all your future ventures.
You might wonder why the elaborate introduction of AR Rahman? Because his music has been a companion for me growing up and pretty much defined my childhood. I could describe each stage of my life with AR Rahman songs. I also want to give a big shoutout to Rahmaniac Malaysia for being the platform to gather all AR Rahman or Rahmaniacs under one group. This episode will be a treat to all music fans, especially AR Rahman fans, so make yourself comfortable, sit tight and enjoy this episode. Welcome to my third episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing Season 2. I appreciate your willingness to check out my content, and I hope you will find it meaningful and worth sharing. This episode will be another solo episode where I will be talking about pertaining topics related to anti-discrimination. In the previous episode, we looked into several discriminations definitions and derived a summative meaning from all those definitions. I had also shared my own experience dealing with discrimination. So you might wonder how did I come out of feeling stuck due to being oppressed. In this episode, I will share some of my coping methods with discrimination. I would credit my ability to rise above prejudice to the principle of success shared by Swami Rama Tirtha. He shared the 3 C’s of Success, namely Concentration, Consistency and Co-operation/ Community. I will explain all three of them in this episode. I am not implying these are the best methods, but these methods worked wonders for me. You may adapt some of the techniques that I will share to match your situations. This episode may be an eye-opener to some of you, so make yourself comfortable, sit tight and enjoy this episode.
