Hey Kiddos! In today’s episode (the last one on the book of John), we hear the amazing story of how Jesus surprised His disciples with a miraculous catch of fish—and even made them breakfast!
Simon Peter, John, and the gang had been fishing all night with nothing to show for it. But when a man on the shore told them to try one more time, they pulled in a whole LOAD of fish! That’s when they realized—it was Jesus! Peter was so excited he jumped right in and swam to Him.
But this wasn’t just about breakfast. Jesus had a very special conversation with Peter. Jesus was reminding Peter of his important job: to take care of God’s people.
And that’s not all—Jesus reminded all of His disciples (and us!) to follow Him, no matter what. Even when the road gets tough, He’ll be right there. And make sure you stick around to the very end to hear what book of the bible our next season will be about!

Hey friends. Today’s story is a tough one—but don’t worry, it’s part of the greatest rescue plan ever. We’re heading into John chapter 19, where Jesus shows just how much He loves us—even when everything gets really, really hard. In today’s story Jesus, the true King, is treated like a criminal. The crowd yells “Crucify Him!” and Pilate, the Roman ruler, gives in. Jesus is hurt, mocked, and made to carry His own cross. But even when things seem scary or unfair, Jesus isn’t out of control. He’s still King. He’s still good. And He’s still carrying out God’s perfect rescue plan. This part of the story reminds us just how deep God’s love really goes—so deep that He gave everything to bring us back to Him.
Podcast Questions:
After they hurt Jesus, what did they put on him?
When Pilate told the people that he found no guilt in Jesus, how did they respond?
What happened to Jesus that night after all the mistreatment he received?

Today’s story takes us into a garden at night, where something really important—and really hard—happens.
Jesus had just finished praying with His disciples when Judas showed up… but not to pray. Judas brought a group of soldiers and leaders with torches and weapons. They came looking for Jesus, but guess what? Jesus didn’t run or hide—He stepped forward and said, “I am He.” Even in danger, Jesus cared for His friends. He told the soldiers, “Let my disciples go,” because Jesus is the Good Shepherd who protects His sheep.
But Peter… well, he got scared. First, he tried to fight back with a sword (and even cut off someone’s ear—yikes!). But Jesus said, “Put it away. This is part of God’s plan.” Then, after Jesus was arrested, Peter followed from a distance—but when people asked if he knew Jesus, he found himself scared again.
Meanwhile, Jesus was being questioned, but He stood strong. Even though this night was full of fear and sadness, we see how brave and loving Jesus is. And we also see how people, like Peter, can mess up—but Jesus still loves them and has a plan to make things right.
Podcast Questions:
Where did Jesus and his disciples go after He finished praying?
Who approached Jesus in the Garden?
Who did the people want to free, instead of Jesus?

Hey friends! Today we’re jumping back into the Upper Room with Jesus and His disciples. Jesus had already washed their feet and shared lots of amazing things, but He wasn’t done yet! He had one more super important promise to make: He was sending someone very special — the Holy Spirit!
Jesus explained that soon, He would go to be with the Father, but He wouldn’t leave His friends alone. The Holy Spirit would come to help them! He would show the world what’s true about sin, and how through Jesus, we can be made clean and whole again. The Spirit would guide the disciples (and us!) into all truth, and always point us back to Jesus and the Father.
Even though the disciples felt confused and maybe even a little sad, Jesus promised that their sorrow would turn into joy. They just had to trust Him — because He knew exactly what they needed!
So, grab your Bible and let’s explore how the Holy Spirit is our faithful guide, our helper, and a forever friend sent by Jesus Himself!
Podcast Questions:
What were the disciples beginning to understand that made them sad?
Jesus reassures the disciples by telling them he has overcome what?
What does Jesus do after he reassures the disciples?

Hey kids! In today’s episode, we’re diving into one of Jesus’ most amazing word pictures yet — the vine and the branches! 🌿Jesus says He is the true vine, and we’re the branches, which means staying close to Him helps us grow strong and full of life. Kinda like how a branch needs the tree to survive!
We’ll explore how Jesus is not just our King and Savior—but also our friend. He wants us to have big joy and deep love, the kind that overflows to others. 💖 He even says that the greatest love is when someone lays down their life for their friends… and that’s exactly what He did for us.
But being Jesus’ friend isn’t always easy. The world might not understand why we follow Him. It can feel lonely sometimes. But don’t worry! Jesus promises that His love is stronger than anything else—and it lasts forever.
So grab your Bibles, your imagination—because this episode is full of love, friendship, and the good kind of fruit 🍇 (not the mushy bananas kind).

Hey friends! Buckle up, because in today’s episode, we hear about MAJOR promises from Jesus—and they’re the kind that make your heart feel all warm and cozy inside! 🏡💛
The disciples were worried (like, “Where is Jesus going? And how do we even get there?” kinda worried). But Jesus, being Jesus, calmed them down with this amazing truth: “In my Father’s house are MANY rooms—and I’m saving you a spot!” Um, can we say best house ever? 😍
And then came news of an amazing gift: the Holy Spirit! Jesus promised a helper who would live INSIDE us to guide, love, and never leave us—even when we mess up big time.
We learn that God doesn’t just want to visit us—He wants to make His home in our hearts. The God who created the stars wants to be with us. And that, my friends, is some beautiful, peace-filled, heart-melting news. 💫💙
So, whether you’re dancing around the house or brushing your teeth, remember: Jesus went to prepare a place for YOU.
