Adrian’s journey into real estate was fueled by a genuine passion that has developed over the past 15 years. His fascination began after work hours, when he would unwind by watching HGTV shows and series like “Million Dollar Listing New York.” He was captivated by realtors such as Fredrik Eklund, Ryan Serhant, and Luis Ortiz, whose drive, success, and on-screen presence inspired him to pursue a similar path. That moment marked the true start of his adventure in the industry.
What Adrian loves most about his work is helping people. He believes there’s nothing more exciting than witnessing someone become a homeowner—a milestone that signifies a major achievement in life. Being part of his clients’ journey to homeownership is an experience that words can scarcely describe. The joy and gratitude on their faces serve as his greatest motivators, fueling his passion and dedication.
A typical day for Adrian begins with analyzing the market—reviewing recent sales, tracking price trends, and staying informed about overall market conditions. He also keeps a close eye on real estate news that could impact his clients’ decisions. Throughout the day, he responds to messages from current clients, searches for new listings that match their needs, and maintains regular communication with his network. He understands that some clients take months or even years before making a move, so consistent follow-up is key. Additionally, he evaluates his active leads, reviews advertising performance, and stays active on social media by engaging with followers and connecting with potential new clients.
One of the main challenges Adrian faces today is the transition from a seller’s market to a more balanced, or even buyer’s, market. Homes are lingering longer on the market, inventory is increasing, and prices are beginning to come down in response to the higher supply. Navigating this shift requires adaptability and a thorough understanding of current trends to best serve his clients.

It was a pleasure to sit with Calgary star @microchick Faith Louissaint in Calgary and interview her about her 20+ career in Alberta as an actor who has tried it all and says to keep an open mind always for the opportunities that are meant for you and your skill set!
Learning from the best acting teachers around in Calgary now and then has really helped her shape her acting style and way of performing!
She does a stellar job being an integral part of board of @actraalberta as well!
Faith mentions the support of Dagaz Taent, characterstalentagency, @sam_sorbo, @chadrook, @apexactingstudios and @corogues in her early days!
In the heart of Calgary, a movement is growing stronger every day, guided by the unwavering passion of Candida Tocci, president and founder of WomenIN, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting women through advocacy, education, and community support. With her roots firmly planted in the local community and her vision reaching far beyond, Candida's journey is a powerful blend of resilience, purpose, and service.
"I call myself the immigrant-nonimmigrant," she says with a smile that hints at decades of challenges and triumphs. Born in Calgary, Candida moved to Italy before her first birthday and returned at the age of five. "Because my formative years were in Italy, I had to learn the language and adjust. I felt it the most in school—like I was behind everyone else."
Her mother, a quiet force of compassion, played a pivotal role in shaping her path. "My mom was always helping other immigrant women. She knew firsthand how hard it was to find comfort and belonging in a new country. She would always tell me, 'Be kind to women—you never know what they’re going through.' That stuck with me."
That empathy would later become a cornerstone of WomenIN. Candida intimately understands the layers of complexity many women face—not only navigating different cultures but also societal expectations, professional roadblocks, and personal struggles. "I’ve lived those experiences. I’ve felt the sting of not being seen, not being paid my worth, being doubted. I’ve been packaged twice in my career. I’ve heard comments that made me ask, 'Would you say this to a man?' And yet, I’ve also been lifted up by incredible people who saw my potential."
Out of that mosaic of experiences, WomenIN was born. The organization creates inclusive spaces where women support one another, rise together, and rewrite the rules that once limited them.
On May 4, 2025, Candida and her team will host their flagship event, "WomenIN: Awaken the Force Within!" This Star Wars-inspired celebration of empowerment will bring together leaders, visionaries, and change-makers across industries—from tech and health to sports and finance. "It’s more than just an event—it’s a movement," Candida says. "Whether you’re a seasoned warrior or just discovering your power, this is your moment to rise."
The event will feature dynamic panels, a Jedi-themed sponsorship program, and the prestigious WIN Awards, recognizing exceptional women and allies who are making a difference in their communities and beyond.
"We’re not just talking about empowerment—we’re living it, breathing it, sharing it," says Candida. "Every woman has a Force within her. At WomenIN, we simply help her awaken it."
For Candida Tocci, leadership is about courage, vulnerability, and the fierce belief that no woman should walk alone. And in Calgary, that belief is awakening something powerful indeed.

MADD Calgary & Area officially launched its holiday awareness campaign, Project Red Ribbon, to promote safe and sober driving during the festive season. The campaign will run from November 1, 2024, to January 6, 2025, highlighting the importance of preventing impaired driving, a critical issue on Calgary’s roads.
The red ribbon, a symbol of MADD Canada, serves as a reminder of the dangers associated with impaired driving and honors victims who have been killed or injured. Although progress has been made in reducing impaired driving incidents, families continue to lose loved ones and suffer life-altering injuries. Therefore, increased awareness and education are essential.
"Everyone has a role to play in spreading this important message," stated Aaron Libby at the launch event. "Together, we can help prevent impaired driving and keep our communities safe."
MADD Canada chapters distribute red ribbons and car decals to amplify the sober driving message. Canadians are encouraged to display these symbols on vehicles, keychains, or backpacks, reminding one another that driving while impaired is never acceptable.
The official launch of this year’s campaign took place at the AHS Calgary Zone EMS Headquarters, attended by local dignitaries and partners, including Calgary Police Service A/Deputy Chief Joe Brar and representatives from Calgary Transit and KAG Canada.
"Wherever you're celebrating this holiday season, making a sober ride home your first priority is essential," emphasized Libby. "Plan ahead—arrange for a designated driver, take public transit, or stay overnight. It's easy to organize a safe, reliable taxi ride home."
MADD Canada’s red ribbons and car decals are available through MADD Calgary & Area by calling 403-278-8081 or emailing info@maddcalgary.onmicrosoft.com. They can also be obtained at Calgary Co-op Wine Spirits Beer Stores.
About MADD Canada:
MADD Canada is a national charitable organization dedicated to eradicating impaired driving and supporting its victims. With volunteer-led groups in over 100 communities nationwide, MADD Canada works to provide support services to victims, enhance public awareness about the dangers of impaired driving, and ultimately save lives and prevent accidents on our roads. Impaired driving claims the lives of an average of four Canadians daily and injures countless others. To learn more, please visit www.maddchapters.ca/calgary and www.madd.ca.
