The way you start your morning shapes your entire day. If you wake up rushed, scrolling your phone, and already feeling behind, that energy follows you. But if you begin with even a few intentional minutes of breath, journaling, or gratitude, you set the tone for clarity, calm, and confidence.
In this episode, I explore why mornings are such a powerful time for transformation and share simple practices you can use to reset your day, and your life.
Mornings are your golden opportunity to choose how you want to show up in the world. Even 10 minutes of intentional practice can shift your mindset, regulate your nervous system, and change the trajectory of your day.

Have you ever made the conscious decision not to drink, and then found yourself pouring a glass of wine anyway? You told yourself you wouldn’t, you meant it , but a few hours later, it’s like something else took over?
If that’s you, you’re not alone. And it’s not because you’re weak, or broken, or don’t want sobriety badly enough. It’s because when it comes to alcohol, our unconscious desires often override our conscious choices.
In this episode Danni unpacks why that happens, how those desires form, and most importantly, how you can start to reverse them.

In this episode I chat with Claire McCreedy from the ACT. Claire grew up in an unpredictable and emotionally unsafe environment, with an alcoholic mother and parents who lived quite reclusively. From a young age, her nervous system was wired for survival. Social skills didn’t come naturally, home life was isolating, and by fourteen, alcohol became her tool for managing social situations.
As life progressed, Claire found herself in a domestic violence relationship and continued to use alcohol as a way to soothe anxiety and emotional overwhelm. After separating from her partner, the loneliness she felt on weekends without her children became unbearable, she describes those weekends as “one weekend I’m a mother, the next weekend I don’t know who I am.” Alcohol became a numbing mechanism to cope with that disconnection.
Her turning point came when a new partner gently but firmly reflected back the reality of her drinking, expressing that he couldn’t have that level of alcohol around his daughter. It sparked a powerful wake-up call.
Claire began to educate herself about alcohol and got sober-curious. Today, at 42, she’s over two years sober and thriving. She walks daily, uses breathwork to calm her nervous system, and is creating a life that’s grounded in clarity, health, and self-awareness.
