In our latest episode of HealthStyle, we spoke to Professor Suneil Jain, Consultant Clinical Oncologist and internationally recognised expert in the management of Prostate Cancer. We get started by going back to the basics as he tells us what and where the prostate gland is. He talks about the initial step to take if you have any concerns and the pathway through to diagnostics and treatment. He encourages annual PSA testing for men, and helps us understand what it means if there is an elevated results. He also touches on other factors to think about including age and genetics. Prof Jain spends half his time doing research around Prostate Cancer and says it is a very exciting field to be in with the positive developments it continues to make.
