We were delighted to have Dr Kerry Sweeney, Child Psychologist at Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast as our next HealthStyle podcast guest. Dr Sweeney recently joined Kingsbridge bringing with her 20 years of experience within the NHS and talks to us about the common issues she sees day to day including higher levels of anxiety and low moods. She can also offer CBT, ADHD assessments and Autism screening assessments so we discuss the clinical pathway for parents and their children and the solutions she can offer. 

We  touch on the impact of Covid and how we can practice emptying our stress buckets. Dr Sweeney also encourages PACE Parenting, the fundamental cornerstone of therapeutic parenting for all children however especially for children who have experienced trauma.
