Hello and thanks for listening!
In this podcast I share what The Holy Spirit showed me about how to devil was stealing my joy so that you too, may be more aware of how he tries to trick us out of God's blessings for our lives.
If any of this helped you, or you'd like to hear more, see to it that you get to know Jesus and then if you want to, give me a follow on your favorite podcast listening platform.

Here is to Growing and Sowing 🌱
Hello and thanks for listening!
In this brief podcast episode I talk about some truths that help me overcome crippling fear and anxiety over what people think about me. I hope that it helps even one person. I strongly encourage prayer and reading the Word for yourself as what I have to say alone, is only to provide you with encouragement from a friend who is also following Jesus.

In this podcast I talk about the milestones that have happened since quitting nursing, which are all praise reports in my book -- of the many I talk about, I think I forgot to mention, I said YES to a dress for our wedding! 🥂🎉💍 I additionally mention what things I had done differently or more fervently, and encourage my listeners to try something new 😍

Hello and thanks for listening!
I apologize for my late night brain as this was recorded last minute for you guys and I've been kind of shoving all of my nurse memories as far back as I possibly can while I sort out what I want to do next but I hope that this early morning description below sounds a bit more clear!
I know this podcast is lengthy but the crazy part is, it still didn't capture everything! The dabakey, bonney, kocher, adson and more instruments that are sure to blow your mind with all their names and what makes each one unique; the shoes you keep in your locker specifically for work, the booties you have to put over them when you cross lines, and how an adrenaline junkie might lose interest after staring at, and smelling, the same piece of a persons body for more than ten minutes in a freezing room.
It is a unique experience hence why it's said to be a specialized interest of nursing. In this video podcast I "briefly" discuss what I enjoyed about the transition and did not enjoy, as well as describe a day in the OR. I failed to mention that the coolest surgery to me personally was a craniotomy done to remove cancerous tissue because of its mix of cold, outdated looking equipment to hold a persons head off of the OR table along with the use of todays newest technology that uses MRI images to estimate, in real time, where the neurosurgeon will cut -- WHEW! Amazing, seeing how hard it is to pull off the skull from the brain matter that lies underneath and then just seeing it sit on a table before you; but again, could get repetitive if you see it more than once (or you could never get tired of it). Whatever the case may be, I hope this video podcast was informative.

Hello!
On this episode of growing and sowing, I'll be talking about how I got into bodybuilding. How all it took was just one important person in my life to sow this dream, and then down the line, a few others watered it into what became my first time on stage! I believe that everyone, EVERYONE, has a unique calling and purpose in their life that was given to them by a thoughtful, wise, and loving God that just wants to see you be who He created you to be -- because this is worship! It glorifies Him to be who He created you to be. Has doubt stopped you from being yourself? Now, why would doubt do that?
I understand that being the you He created you to be is so much easier said than done, so I go over a little bit of what helped me. Ultimately, if you wanted to know how something worked, you would go to the one who made it. Similarly, if you want to know a little bit more about yourself, I encourage you to talk to your Creator. Talk to God.

Hello and thanks for listening!
In this video podcast I discuss whether or not it's worth me going back to curly hair again after having chopped off my hair TWICE, within the last 8 years of my hair journey, and being super close to going for a third time after straightening my hair for 3-4 consecutive months.
If you're tackling the same issue, or are just browsing for insight on what it would be like to take care of your naturally curly hair should you decide to take that leap, then this might be the episode for you. At the end, I share the most important deciding factor in all this; leaving it up to you and I hope that it encourages you enough to make the decision that is brave and suitable, FOR YOU.

So what happened next? No really. It's hard to go through a rough patch and then get on instagram and see that other person who also appeared to be going through a rough time have all their needs, wants, and more met while you're still down on your luck just thinking "UGH when will it be my turn?"
Well, first of all, count your blessings, and secondly, I'm certain that person had some things happen between the time they were down, to the time they made that post. So on this episode I share what practical steps I took next after quitting my bedside job so that when that time comes when I'm back on a mountaintop, it won't seem so misleading. You will know just what took place behind the scenes. I disclose what I lost, what I gained, what I'm learning, and what I'm praying for.
For any body on a mountaintop, please, comment what you're so grateful to have right now! What's going right?! What did you learn in your last valley?
And if anybody is in a valley, let me know how I can pray for you!
Thanks for listening ❤️
It is so easy to look at me sitting down, talking, and say "oh, it doesn't sound that bad, she is just complaining",
But what I discussed in this video is just brushing the surface and are all happening while running around, taking care of 1) the planned tasks on the workflow of our electronic medical records, and 2) the unplanned events that come with taking care of acutely sick patients.
Nonetheless, I'm so glad to have started at the bedside where I imagined myself for many years. I had dreams of working in the ED for many years to just make sure I went home with a different story to tell every day and know I'd go to work not knowing what to expect. To teach new nurses and to lead. To become a certified critical care nurse, to try flight nursing, and to take care of more traumas. However, those dreams have been crushed under the pressure of simply surviving shift to shift from being mentally and physically exhausted. I could not find a work life balance. I could not serve everyone at work with 100%, come home and give family and friends 100%, and myself 100%. A lot of my service attitude was drained at work and left me and family with nothing and if I drop dead tomorrow, my service at work can be replaced but my service to family and self cannot so I've made the decision to leave.
