New Earth - Pt 4 of 5 Living in What is Already Here

When Scripture speaks of a new earth, it is revealing something far deeper than a change in landscape or scenery. It is not about removal of mountains or replacing the rivers, but about the renewal of hearts and the transformation of lives. The new earth is the revelation of a people who have been made new in Christ, born of His Spirit, and brought under a new spiritual order built on grace. This is not a grace that merely forgives, but one that completely restores. It flows from the very heart of God’s kingdom where love reigns, mercy overcomes judgment, and righteousness becomes the natural fruit of a life anchored in Him.

Heaven represents the divine authority of God.

When heaven and earth align, heaven’s authority is revealed through God’s people. His kingdom is not only something we wait for but something that lives within us. Every time we choose love over bitterness, mercy over judgment, and obedience over fear, we reveal a glimpse of this new earth. It is not about geography but about spiritual reality, a community of people made alive in Christ and shaped by His grace.

The new earth is God’s dream for humanity fulfilled in His Son. It is His presence dwelling in His people and His kingdom revealed through ordinary lives surrendered to Him. In Christ, we are no longer bound by the old order of striving and law; we now live under the gentle power of grace. And as we walk in that grace, heaven touches earth through us, and the new earth, God’s renewed people, becomes visible in the world.

New Heaven- Pt 3 of 5 Living in What is Already Here

As we talk about the New Heaven and what it means to live in what is already here, many are still waiting for what has already come. The New Heaven is not a future promise but a present reality. It arrived with a new representative, Jesus Christ.

The first man, Adam, fell through disobedience, but the second Adam, Jesus, walked in perfect obedience. Through Him, we have been redeemed, restored, and made new. He accomplished what no man before Him could.

The Levitical priests once entered the holy of holies with God, but now there is a greater High Priest who tore the veil and ended the old system forever. That covenant, once corrupted by human ambition and control, came to its conclusion just as Jesus said it would. The old heaven, the former order between God and His imperfect representatives, passed away within that generation. Through His blood, a new covenant was born. We now live under a new heaven, where Christ Himself stands as our mediator, our representative, our advocate, and our redeemer. This is not a hope for someday; it is the reality of today. The new has come, and in Him, heaven has already begun.

New Creation-Pt 2 of 5 Living in What is Already Here

For many years, I longed for Jesus to return and fix what I believed was a broken , cursed, sinful and ugly world. A world beyond repair and needed to be replaced with a new one.

I thought the new creation would be a perfect physical world that would replace this one. But over time, my eyes were opened. The new creation is not waiting to arrive, it has already come. It is spiritual in nature, just like the transformation that happens within us. It is entered by faith, not seen by sight.

This may challenge what many of us have always believed. It may raise questions. That is good. We are meant to seek, to ask, and to grow.

God is not threatened by our questions. He invites us into deeper understanding. The Bible is not simply about scientific or historical events. It is a spiritual and covenantal revelation. A story of God dwelling with His people.

The new has come. The Kingdom is here. And we are living init now.

New Creature- Pt 1 of 5 Living in What is Already Here

Today, we turn our focus to a powerful and hope-filled truth: if you are in Christ, you are already a new creature. This is not about trying harder or earning your way to God. It is about recognizing the transformation that has already taken place. In Christ, you are not being slowly improved; you have been made entirely new. This new identity is not future tense, it is a present reality.

Many of us have been taught to wait for a future change, a new world, the New Jerusalem. But Scripture makes it clear that something incredible has already happened.

We are not waiting for the new. The new is here.

In this episode, we will look closely at what it means to live from that truth. Not by performance or pressure, but by the Spirit who now lives in you. You are not becoming a new person someday. You are already a new creation today. Let’s walk in that reality now.

Was There Ever a Satan or Devil? You Decide

Recently, we have been exploring the question: Who, or what, is Satan? Scripture offers different insights, and I was surprised by what I found.

There are different views on the serpent in Genesis, whether literal, spiritual, or symbolic. The real question is: What voice are we listening to? One that deceives and burdens, or the One who invites us to rest?

Today, we are exploring the top three views about satan and the identity of the serpent in the Garden of Eden. We’ll present each view, along with the supporting arguments and the challenges to each one.

I’ve shared what I found, along with supporting scriptures. You decide what you believe and walk in the freedom and rest that come only from the Lord, not from victory over demons.

I’m no longer on the front lines of a spiritual war.

Instead, I’ve discovered a kingdom not built on fear but on love. A kingdom that is here and now. It is beautiful and peaceful, not raging in battle.

This is the kingdom of God, established in the new covenant.

The kingdom of Grace.

Remember: We don’t have to believe exactly the same. Just listen to the Lord and trust the Spirit to lead you into truth.

The Real Story Behind Satan part 3 of 3

Welcome to our final episode in our 3 part series: What Is the Real Story Behind Satan? We have been looking at a perspective you may never have heard before, and it’s one that could change how you see spiritual opposition, biblical prophecy, and the gospel itself.

Today we look at the “satan” in Revelation and learn many references may actually point to corrupt religious leaders who resisted the new covenant of grace, not invisible spiritual beings.

The Bible’s language is often symbolic and covenantal, not literal and physical.

That changes everything.

What if the enemy you’ve been taught to fear isn’t a supernatural monster, but deception itself? What if freedom in Christ doesn’t come from spiritual warfare, but from resting in what’s already finished?

We are no longer under the old covenant. Christ fulfilled it and ushered in a gospel of freedom, rest, and truth. But many modern religious systems still teach Law + Grace.

That’s not the gospel.

Today we wrap up with several questions we should consideras we look at the real story behind satan.

Let’s keep learning, questioning, and walking in truth.

Remember, You are already free.

Grace at LAST
The Real Story Behind Satan Part 2 of 3

For generations, many Christians have been taught to view satan as a powerful, invisible, demonic being persistently working to destroy lives, families, health, and finances. This view has filled countless teachings about spiritual warfare—prayers intended to bind demonic forces, rituals involving anointing oil on doors and windows, and calls to rebuke and resist the devil at every turn. The main message has been clear: you are under constant spiritual attack, and your role as a believer is to fight back with spiritual tools.

But what if this entire view is built more on fear, tradition, or misunderstanding than on what the Bible actually teaches?

What if satan is not a literal creature with horns and a pitchfork hiding in the shadows, but rather a metaphorical or symbolic term used in scripture to represent opposition to God's purpose? Could it be that "the satan" in the Bible sometimes refers to human adversaries rather than a demonic being?

This perspective may feel unsettling or controversial, especially for those raised with the traditional narrative. However, it's worth asking: does this interpretation line up with what scripture really says?

Could rethinking our view of satan not only change how we read scripture—but also how we live, believe, and respond to challenges in our daily lives?

Today, we explore these questions in depth. We examine the biblical texts and challenge ourselves to reconsider some of our assumptions. Let’s see what the Bible truly says.

Thanks for joining me.

Grace at LAST
The Real Story Behind Satan Part 1 of 3

A spiritual journey, from fear-driven religion to freedom intruth. So many messages highlight the devil. Often, we blame the devil foreverything.

Sometimes, fear, not freedom, seems to define the Christian walk.

The Bible, firmly rooted in Jewish history and context, often uses the word “Satan” (from the Greek) simply to mean “adversary”, one who opposes. It’s not always a supernatural being. It can refer to humans, institutions, or systems standing in opposition to God’s plan.

The leaders in Jesus’ day, obsessed with control, had abandoned the true covenant with God. They manipulated the temple, compromised with Rome, and ultimately betrayed their Messiah. Could they have been the real "satan" figure, tempting Jesus to join their system of power and compromise?

In this light, much of what modern Christian’s fear, a devil behind every problem, might be a distraction from the real battle: resisting corrupt systems, legalism, and false religion.

The Pharisees, not demons, were Jesus’ biggest enemies. Theykilled Him not out of theology, but to protect their power.

The takeaway is this: maybe we’ve been fighting illusions, not realities. Maybe peace comes not from “binding the devil,” but from breaking free of religious deception.

The victory has already been won through Christ. Now, it’s time to walk in truth, clarity, and freedom.

Are You A Control Freak?

Today we get real. I had turned into a modern-day Pharisee and I had unrealistic expectations of those I love. I thought obedience was the key. Now I know love is the key. But before I understood grace, I was more concerned with obedience than anything else and it made my life difficult.

Today we talk about how we can do things differently that will bring positive changes immediately. There is more freedom available and today we are going to talk about how to make it our reality.

Living in God’s Kingdom Today

Do we live in an illusion? An illusion of what we currently have and what may be coming our way? How much has Hollywood influenced our thinking when it comes to sincere biblical truth?

How can we find our freedom in Christ and live it out to the full, abandoning complacency and regret?

How have the messages about tribulation and catastrophe subliminally formed our view about God and therefore effected every area of our lives?

These are valid questions and the desire to live lives of peace and joy are not only available, they can become a reality in our lives now.

Let’s explore these questions and more on today’s Grace at LAST Podcast.

In What Kingdom Was Jesus Born and What Does That Mean To Us?

One of the greatest promises God gave to His people to give them hope is contained in the book of Daniel. The God of the Bible made a promise hundreds of years before Jesus’ earthly life about a kingdom. He promised an unshakeable kingdom in which His people, the righteous, would dwell. This kingdom would never be ruled by a man, turned over to another, and will endure forever.

Daniels interpretation of the king’s dream tells us precisely when that kingdom would be established. These powerful truths that renew our minds to live in the truth of our new life in Christ will take us to a deeper understanding of the love of God found in His Son. Our reality will be more in line with truth which will set us free.

There has been a place prepared for us and it is the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of grace. Jesus is the kingdom, and He dwells in whosoever shall believe.

Jesus’ Promise About His Second Coming Part 2

Is Jesus coming back? Do we need to be prepared for a second coming and if so, how do we do that? If not, why have we been lied to and told He is coming back any minute (for over 2000 years)? How can I ignore the many voices telling me about a future event where Jesus makes all things new and hear Jesus’ words only? Why is Jesus’ words and the narrative in the church so different? Which one is right?

On today’s Grace at LAST Podcast, we finish looking atJesus’ words to see what He had to say about His second coming in Matthew 24.

There are so many claims about Jesus’ return and what God plans on doing in the future. Understanding God’s intentions will help us live in reality.

Where do New Creatures Live?

If we are in Christ, we are new creatures. Where do we as new creatures currently live if we are waiting for God to bring in a kingdom sometime in the future? What can we learn about the first creation to help us appreciate today and what God’s new creation offers?

When we learn from the first Adam and the contrast in the last Adam, Jesus, we grow. We grow in understanding which makes us grow in love because the appreciation and gratitude just wells up in us and overtakes us. There is so much beauty in this inheritance that belongs to those who are “In Christ”.

Let’s grow and learn from the scriptures that tell the Greatest Story Ever Told.

Why Was Cain's Offering Unacceptable?

People are exhausted. So many people are hearing sermons about serving God and doing the work of ministry to show their gratitude and appreciation for all Christ did for them. Or maybe we are hearing messages about the favor and blessings we will receive when we are faithful in our self-less lifestyle and choices. We are given lists of things we can do to be close to God and live the abundant life we read about in scriptures. These are common approaches in our education and teaching when it comes to the Bible. Afterall, we don’t want to “just be hearers of the word, we must be doers as well.” But is that the message of the Bible? Is it written so we have an outline on how to live to be blessed or is there a deeper more meaningful message we can understand that will help us experience more intimacy in our relationship with Christ?

What has God been trying to tell us since the Garden of Eden? Let’s learn from Cain and Abel’s sacrifice they brought to the Lord and why one was accepted by God, and the other rejected.

These are some of the things we talk about on this Grace at LAST Podcast. I am so glad you joined in today.

Should I Go To Church?

Going to church can be a difficult area in our lives.  Is it a one size fits all solution or is there more freedom than that available? What does God think when it comes to church attendance and how do we know? These are questions many of us face and ask often, even if it is in only within our own mind. The church is a beautiful creation, and we do not want to be poisoned in our thinking it is less. God created the church, and we should appreciate and respect it in that context.

Is Tithing Biblical Today?

Many of us are learning more about the dividing line in the old and new covenant and the importance of understanding the audience to whom scripture is written.

Understanding this is important and today we talk about it in the context of financial giving. Specifically, tithing.

Money can be a real stumbling block and be difficult to understand what we should do. Most of us sincerely want to know what God expects and we want to please Him. We want to understand God's heart and what He has to say to those of us on this side of the cross.

These are some issues we need clarity on because it can be confusing and leave us unsure. Today we look at some scriptures in their context to gain understanding on what God thinks of giving, in light of the cross and resurrection.

Is the Bible Really There For My Instruction?

Understanding the audience is crucial to understanding the Bible. Otherwise we get very confused and life becomes more difficult than it should be. Jesus offers us rest in the new covenant but many Christians are uptight, discouraged, depressed, anxious and afraid.

Today on the Grace at LAST Podcast we look at the audience to whom the Bible was written. We also look at the context of many familiar passages we may misunderstand and therefore bring us into bondage. Christ came to do the very opposite. It was for freedom that Christ came and set us free.

Thanks for joining in as we take a look with a fresh perspective at some common verses most have heard many times, but possibly have misunderstood.

Is Revelation Speaking to You? Who is the Audience?

If we do not understand who scripture is talking to, we are going to be confused. We must immediately identify the audience and remain there. Turning the intended audience inward every time will put us under laws and commandments that were never meant for us and bring fear into our lives. There is no better example than the Book of Revelation to confuse the audience and bring fear. The new covenant is a message of grace and peace, not fear. We look at the first three verses in the book to identify the audience and see what we can learn about our own lives from understanding to whom the book was written.

Thank you for joining in the Grace at LAST Podcast as we look at scripture from a fresh perspective of the finished work of Christ.
