Many of us are learning more about the dividing line in the old and new covenant and the importance of understanding the audience to whom scripture is written.
Understanding this is important and today we talk about it in the context of financial giving. Specifically, tithing.
Money can be a real stumbling block and be difficult to understand what we should do. Most of us sincerely want to know what God expects and we want to please Him. We want to understand God's heart and what He has to say to those of us on this side of the cross.
These are some issues we need clarity on because it can be confusing and leave us unsure. Today we look at some scriptures in their context to gain understanding on what God thinks of giving, in light of the cross and resurrection.
