In the summer of 1971, a long haired 24 year old hippie folk singer songwriter by the name David Bowie played the very first Glastonbury Music Festival at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, England. On the 30th anniversary of the storied annual summer music festival Bowie returned, and in doing so, reclaimed a legacy long tarnished by two decades of crass commercialism, hollow success and artistic bankruptcy.
