What is a good parent? Is there different demands or expectations on us as parents when we are depressed?
In this episode I explore depression both from the child and the parent perspective.
Good parenting has a lot of presence, authenticity, honesty and transparency in it as I see it, and I explore ways how to be all that when we are depressed.
I think it's time to realize that depression is more common than cancer and what our children have experienced now during the pandemic can actually reduce our fear and stigma around depression.
Let's talk about it!

If the vaccine is the quick fix, what is the long term solution?
To live well.
Stress and anxiety suppress our immune system, and the best way to fight Covid, or rather, to handle and cope with it, is to strengthen our overall health.
A good mental, physical and emotional health makes us less vulnerable, moves us out of risk groups and prepares us for an eventual life crises.

DISCLAIMER 1: The sound is not perfect!
DISCLAIMER 2: These are my personal standing points
In Todays episode I share where I stand in the vaccine mandate situation and what forcing people against their will does to them.
Covid is a proof of how trauma, fear, stress and anxiety supresses our immune system, and to violate people when they have a firm NO inside is abuse.
If you have a big YES to the vaccine, take it, and respect the ones who has a big NO inside. Don't push their boundaries, as this causes major stress and trauma. Be kind. See the other side. Walk the talk you teach your children.
Listen and share with the ones you feel need to listen.

In this episode I inquire into our ability to feel joy for life when we lose people we love. For every loss, do we change inside, does something essential become affected, or do we still have the same capability to feel joy for life without these people? Our "normal" assumption is that someone else will come along and we will be happy again, but is that true? Can we feel the same amount of joy for life, to be alive, with separation happening?

In this episode I explore the massive attacks I've been under during the last two months on social media and the freedom of speech. I also dive into how we project our own pain onto other people, to avoid looking inside ourselves.

Maybe the level of self-esteem and self-love we have today is ok? Maybe we don't need to adjust it, strive to increase it, just embrace ourselves and accept that it is what it is, today. Tomorrow is a different story.
New episode of my podcast is out where I share 3 major insights around self-esteem and self-love, available where you normally listen to podcasts.

What if Corona isn't a curse, but a guide to healing? Did you ever consider why children are unaffected and why some of us get extremely ill? Why doesn't the virus treat as equally, why does it distinguish between blood types and underlying conditions? What i the virus actually is a sign, a guide that points to a weak spot or area inside us? Maybe it's a clue that we have some healing inside to do.
Listen to my latest episode around Corona and healing and how we can prepare our physical and emotional beings to better sustain and manage catching COVID-19.

We live in a world where everything is a race, something to accomplish or show. Money, power, looks, success, happiness, even love is something we show as if it's a price on social media. This can never be the purpose of our lives, to become or earn or win against each other. The meaning of life must be the opposite, to be here for each other, without demands and conditions. Just being, together. Listen to my new episode today.

If we would heal, would we then be able to feel and communicate with each other the way we do? Isn't the wounds and traumas what makes us the most vulnerable and the most human? That make us open up or shut down the most? What if to become whole isn't the goal, but to learn to live and enjoy our wounds as a way of communication?

In todays episode I share about the importance of giving in life in relationship to childhood traumas. When connection is broken, it's not only what we didn't receive as children that we're missing, it's also the giving of love, care and support. Thankfully we can project this missing part into other paternal or maternal figures in our lives, once the part that was unfulfilled in us is fulfilled.

Suicide is like a minority, a discriminated cause of death. We've learned that it's all us priviledged people who need to stand up for black lives and fight racism, and it's the same with mental health. To fight for your life when you are struggling, instead of getting the support from a helping hand is different. Just like the one's who's never been discriminated must take action, the ones who've never suffered from mental illness must take action. It's not ok to say it doesn't concern me because I don't suffer from it. We see an increase in suicides in young girls age 15-24 and in today's episode I talk a lot about puberty and how important it is that we step in as parents with greater support these sensitive year going from being a child into being a young adult.
