Aliett Buttelman was turned down by every investor when trying to raise money for the beauty brand she cofounded, Fazit. So she took a scrappy approach to making sales and building her brand, and found a way to get her indie beauty brand worn by Taylor Swift—at a Chief's game, on TV!
Sales sky-rocketed. Within a couple of days, the business made $1,000,000 in sales. A couple of years later, they have partnerships with Target and Walmart, and Fazit is on track to hit $40 million in sales.
