Excuse Me, I Have Something To Say
The Smart Dyslexic - with Che Turner

This week on Excuse me we’re going to be talking about something that effects approximately 15% of all people. Dyslexia. Dyslexia doesn’t discriminate as it occurs in people of all genders and backgrounds. Dyslexia occurs in every language spoken and from every country. And most people don’t even know that they live with it.

Today's Guest is a great friend of mine who is an advocate for spreading awareness and dismantling the stigma that surrounds Dyslexia. Che Turner. Che is the founder of the smart dyslexic. Where his goal is to help others with dyslexia gain a deeper understanding of the challenge, so they can live productive and fulfilling lives. Che recently shared his own Dyslexia story online with the British Dyslexia Association in an incredibly personal and touching article. Che is also working a little something incredible that will potentially change the game for anyone who has dyslexia.

Excuse Me, I Have Something To Say
Like a Boss - with Rochelle Lindquist

Shaun is joined this week by his good friend and fan favourite guest Rochelle Lindquist. 2021 has been a big year for Rochelle as she and her partner uprooted their lives in Brisbane and moved to Tasmania where Rochelle launched her own business.

Rochelle shares with Shaun what it was like to take her biggest risk yet and gamble everything on herself. Rochelle is now a successful business owner who works within social media marketing, SEO writing, copywriting and content creation. Rochelle is the definition of a 'Girl Boss' a woman in business who is single headedly managing multiple contracts, various social media accounts, hosting a successful podcast and inspiring others to live a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.

'I don't know how she does it' is a phrase people often think when they see someone accomplishing so much but Rochelle often shares how she does it on her website and social media channels. It's a combination of hard work, dedication, research, passion and a little bit of luck and it doesn't hurt to know a little bit about algorithms, social media trends and yourself.

This is an inspiring conversation that not only gives you a real insight into the work it takes to become 'successful' but also gives you a few tips and tricks as to how to jumpstart your own business plans.
