In this episode, Coby and I sit down to have a chit chat about our beloved pets, both the ones that are nestled deep into our hearts now, and the ones that are gone but not forgotten. We talk about how they showed up at critical times in our lives, the ways they healed us, awakened our intuition, and most importantly, taught us about participating in the highest good for the greatest number. Pets, like anyone or anything we care about, give us opportunities to feel safe trusting and listening to our intuition-unabashedly.
We are having a lot of fun with this new format and hope to bring you more in the future! What would you like us to discuss?
And most importantly, what is your favorite candy/Reeses variety? :)

Hey Everyone, meet Coby! Coby, meet Everyone!
In this episode, Coby and I have our first official chit chat session about one of our mutual loves: plants. We talk about how we were guided to meet one another, which as it happens is yet another great example of how intuition moves us to be part of opportunities to be present for the highest good for the greatest number. *
We continue into a discussion about how we learned to care for our plants, how we got comfortable listening to them and how to use intuition to help them thrive. Conclusion: no one should be afraid to talk to their plant babies!
Mentioned in this episode: Krystal of Plants With Krystal, Moon Lady Plants in Biddeford, Maine, Darryl Cheng of @houseplantjournal, Jordan's Jungle in Pawtucket RI, and Wilson Farm in Lexington, MA
*not-a- spoiler and something I forgot to mention! What makes our meeting even more serendipitous is the fact that Coby's Mom made her appointment with me weeks ahead of time.
In this episode I'm reading from a piece I wrote in 2019. It's about shattering some of the myths and misconceptions about intuition so it can become as normal to you and breathing in and out.
If you’ve been listening to this podcast, you’re probably starting to get it by now that I really, really, really want you to have a strong connection to your intuition. Basically, that means I will do anything legal to help make that possible. So let’s shine some daylight on one of the biggest myths and misconceptions about intuition: that it is rare.
And of the things that you are going to have to accept if you want to have a great relationship with your intuition is that you are a product of the culture which seeks to marginalize it. This means if we’re lucky enough to experience our intuition at all, by the time we realize what’s happening our intuition has had to wade through layers and layers of muck just to get our attention.
Join us as we go deep into how to do that dive!
Thank you as always to Coby the wizardess cobygray@gmail.com

Yes, I know! Spring has sprung! But hear me out~Valentine's Day (my favorite holiday) is eternal. There's a reason why it's such a flash point for all of our feelings about love. Even if you can't stand this holiday, there are ways in which it points us toward the deepest truths and vulnerabilities in ourselves, and when we own those, we can be liberated by a truly authentic expression of love.
In this episode I'm reading from a piece I reprise every year, going back to 2016.
I've given it a glow-up and hope you get something meaningful out of it!
Love you, Friends. Remember: More love=more intuition ;)

We're back and we missed you!
This season we're live from the blog! I'm sharing my writing about intuition, life, and intuitive spirituality by reading both new pieces and some from the archive, and I'll also share my thoughts about them with you.
In this episode I'm reading a deeply personal piece, What Was Burned and What Wasn't, about what it was like to grow up in Pacific Palisades, and my reflections on the tragic fires that destroyed the place I first called home.
If you're able to give, these good orgs are still accepting donations for what will be a very long recovery effort:

Friends, I am thrilled to share with you my conversation with a true luminary, Alexka Chan, client and friend, who has written an entirely original memoir. In The Garden Behind The Moon is a book that will mesmerize you as you travel with Alexka as she heals from the loss of both parents in close succession.
Alexka chronicles how her personal journey is linked to those of her ancestors too, and as she faces down the critical spiritual crossroads of how one will live in this world exactly as it is, it becomes clear that the unseen guidance of her soul is awakening in her.
The way intuition guided Alexka to write this book, as well as in her healing, is truly magical.

This is the last episode of Season Five, but don't be sad, we have a really cool bonus episode for you dropping soon, and I'm so excited about it I can barely stand not spilling the beans!
For now, we're wrapping up Intuition and Self Care by talking about what happens when we think our intuition has done us dirty. Is there such a thing as intuitive guidance that's wrong? What do we do in the aftermath? How do we learn from these experiences and keep trusting our intuition?
Also, I share a little about a download I received in the wee hours last January, about the presidential election, and what it's been like to watch the details I was given unfold.
Hi Friends, we're back after getting knocked a little sideways by the siren call of the summer outdoors....in this episode we're unpacking what it means when we make the commitment to just trust our damn selves unconditionally. It's a foundation piece of Intuitive Self Care and so important. I support you always in making that leap of faith!

We are back, Friends, with a deep dive into Intuitive Spirituality! Taking care of ourselves spiritually means a lot of different things when your intuition is your guide. I hope we hit the right balance between what turned out t be a rather philosophical take on what your spirituality could mean for you, this is definitely an episode where I attempted to speak as broadly as I could on the topic, and I hope it didn't feel like we were only floating in the cloud of ideas. I always want you to feel like your intuition is alive in your very real life.
If you identified with the discussion, please let me know! Your questions and ideas are always welcome!
We recorded this episode wayyyy back in March when it was snowing outside, expecting it would be ready to post in April. Due to an equipment upgrade (yay) there were delays, my apologies for that and for~ahem~ the snowstorm that clobbered us in early April. IYKYK. I promise to never comment on the weather again!
Special thanks to Coby the Magician ;) cobygray@gmail.com
Whatever you think you know about self care, there's always more to learn. It's not just about bubble baths (no shade thrown to bubble bath aficionados, they're great)! But let's go deeper! Our intuition not only informs the ways we can care well for ourselves, taking good care of ourselves also promotes a good relationship with our intuition. Welcome to Season Five, here we goooooo!

Say what you will about the Information Age (and there is a lot to say for sure, because not all of it is fantastic). One of the most wonderful elements however, is getting to be a podcaster in the company of many genius-level podcasters. Here is my short list for the podcasts that have inspired me, expanded my thinking, made me ugly cry, and made me laugh my tush off! I hope you love them too.
True Crime: Bear Brook Season 1
History: Overlanders, 1619
Popular Culture: Still Processing
Comedy: Dear Bastard
Auto Fiction/Memoir: Appearances
Fiction: The Truth, Greater Boston
Historical Fiction: BBC Radio 4 Homefront
Practicing real gratitude is a big job. Some thoughts to get you started!
We're wrapping up Season 4 with the last of 3 explorations on what real joy really means. Susan takes us on a deeper dive into the difference between emotional feelings and intuitive feelings, with a bonus fresh take on Spooky Season.
Happy Halloween everyone, and we'll be back with mini episodes in November/December before Season 5 premieres in January 2024!
In this episode we continue our conversation about the significant differences between joy and bliss, and how acceptance of the full range of our feelings helps us connect with our intuition, which in turn, guides us in a life that offers us true authenticity.
(Also there is some discussion of a very adorable little 12 lb cloud with feet). Turns out, our hearts are really big enough to feel it all, all at the same time.
Thanks, as always, to the inimitable Coby Gray cobygray@gmail.com
Pics of 2023's second biggest surprise to follow on social media, since I obvs keep forgetting I can't post them here https://www.instagram.com/susangormanintuitive/
Let's tread carefully into the deep misunderstandings that surround the concept of bliss as a substitute for enduring happiness, and what true joy really is.
Also there's a blockbuster (at least for those of us in this intuition joint) Very Cool Validation story about the power of dreams, coming right on the heels of our las two episodes.

We're back at it with a follow-up episode on Intuition and sleep! (Those pesky tangents, they turn into miniseries sometimes!). But we wouldn't want to leave you hanging and there's so much more to talk about!
Special thanks to Coby Gray, sound engineer extraordinaire cobygray@gmail.com
Did you know that how we sleep directly impacts how we experience our intuition? Our intuition also loves to utilize the wee hours to keep us connected with ourselves. In this episode, Susan begins to decode how you may or may not be helping yourself sleep better, receive important information, and foster a good relationship with rest. Bonus content includes Susan's dog who serendipitously was sleeping on the floor next to her desk while she was recording, delightfully dreaming and snorting in his sleep!
And we're back!
We continue our series on New Age Myths and Misconceptions with a dive into the way the wellness community has often characterized approaches to mental health in ways that don't serve us and that oversimplify the power of positive thinking. Plus, Susan gives some concrete examples of how to use affirmations so they'll actually work.

E3 is on its way but we're taking a short break. Alison and Steve, the folks who help bring Everyday Intuition to you with their magical technical and production support, are taking some time to deal with a family health issue. We'll be back to continue Season 4 as soon as we can, and in the meantime, now's the opportunity you've been waiting for to binge all your favorite episodes from seasons past! Please add your love and good woo to mine as we send it their way :).
In this episode, we admit Susan's on a bit of a soapbox, but honestly she probably can't help it! Listen as she takes apart the confusing, limiting, and contradictory ways physical health is conceptualized in new age wellness spaces. She makes some valuable suggestions on how to navigate your own physical experience as a human with a human body using your intuition of course, and answers another very sticky question from a mom about her teenager to round out the episode.
