The towel hanging from your neck

Was already soaking wet

Your image danced in my eyes

As I bit my bottom lip.

Your muscular thighs, too taut to grip.

I hope you like rain as much as I do,

Because all your wet dreams,

Are about to come true.

I thought of you late last night,

As sleep eluded me.

Sweet dreams are a thing of past,

Your memory tortures me.

We used to be a happy pair,

Perhaps that was a dream

Or maybe what I thought was happiness,

Was not what it seemed.

You look at me,

When we share intimate space.

I love the way

You smile at me,

As you gently touch my face.

I love the way

You talk to me,

When we’re spending time alone

I love the way

You tease me,

When we’re talking on the phone.

I love the way

Your kisses

Make me hunger for you more.

In my heart I know that this is

What I’ve been waiting for.

My heart was beating

My chest was heaving

My mind was believing

That maybe…

When I opened my eyes

There would be a surprise

No more foolish lies

Would surround me…

But alas, I was wrong

Loving you was easy

Loving me took some work

I had to find myself and accept who I was

Amidst all the pain and hurt

See, I never thought I had issues

In my mind I was fine

Until things pointed out by you

Put self-doubt in my mind

As if by magic,

You appeared in front of me.

You weren’t there a moment ago.

Suddenly, what was once an empty space,

Contained you.

My eyes leaked at the sight of you.

I swallowed hard and licked my lips

As my breathing

Became more erratic from anticipation.

You moved closer,

Invading my personal space.

The back of your hand touched my face ever so gently

As the distance between our lips was replaced by the softest,

Most passion-filled kiss ever shared between two people.

My eyes are closed and I’m afraid to open them.

Afraid that I’m dreaming again.

That you’re not really here.

I first open one eye

I heard my voice call you

I peered at many faces

And wandered through places

I’d not seen before

Knocked on door after door

But no door would open

So I was no longer hoping

To see you again

Committed to only each other.

Somehow, we drifted apart,

And now we can barely stand one another.

No words to speak, no passion to share.

Afraid but excited to be together again

Did you feel that?

I felt it too.

I felt the heat

Radiating from your body

As the sweetest pain

Surged through mine.

So deeply that you exhaled through me.

I felt your body tremble as satiation loomed.

And land on mine.

When you're in love, you can never be close enough..................................................................................Come Closer   I see you, seeing me. I feel you, feeling me. Your sandalwood essence entices my senses And I like it. Come Closer.   I need the heat That radiates from your body, To collide With the fire that burns within mine. You need it too, I can tell. The lust in your eyes And the slick of your lips, Calls out To the pain between my thighs And the dip in my hips. Come closer.

Broken Heart, Mended How did you know my heart was broken? I had not told a soul. I kept the pain hidden inside, I hoped no one would know. I looked inside and blamed myself. What could I have done so wrong? Could I have been too demanding? Had we been together too long? Perhaps I should not blame myself, For why that love affair ended. Somehow, you must have heard my prayers, Because my broken heart, you’ve mended.

BLAME GAME

I wish I’d never met you,

Or ever saw your face.

I tried hard not to let you,

But you invaded my personal space.

Showered me with love and affection.

The fantasy finally came true.

I let down my guard, changed my direction,

Before I learned the truth about you.

Just as I feared, it was all a game,

You wanted to see if you could get me.

It’s not your fault, I accept the blame,

Now, move on, do you and try to forget me.
