Conversations from the Region is a new podcast by the Undergraduate Philosophy Journal of Australasia (UPJA) as as an extension of our interview series. In each episode, we'll interview with academic philosophers who are from or currently working in Australasia, or whose work has had a significant impact on philosophy in the region. We hope this podcast can provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to gain a new perspective on the discipline, by inviting established philosophers to share their own experiences, ideas and advice.

Professor Alexandre Lefebvre: Politics as a Way of Life

In this episode, we interview Professor Alexandre Lefebvre, Professor of Politics and Philosophy at the University of Sydney. We talked about Professor Lefebvre’s philosophy origin story with Critical Theory and Henri Bergson’s works on human rights, liberalism, and politics as a way of life.

This interview was conducted on a stormy afternoon in Prof. Alex Lefebvre’s office. Therefore, you might hear some background noises. But besides that, I hope you can enjoy this episode.
