The Parallax Partnership's 2020 podcast series of informal conversations over a cup of coffee, entertaining experienced senior business leaders and influencers in the leadership sphere, and drawing upon their personal experiences, stories and learned wisdoms over the years.   Today Sarah is in conversation with, Kevin Pojasek, PhD – President and CEO at Enara Bio Kevin joined Enara Bio in 2018 bringing 15 years of leadership and strategic investment experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical sector. He is also a Venture Partner at SV Health Investors and a co-founder and Executive Chairman of Catamaran Bio.  Kevin was formerly Chief Strategy and Business Officer and a member of the executive leadership team at Immunocore. In this role, he was responsible for shaping the company’s corporate, R&D and growth strategies, as well as for overseeing business development. He was also co-head of the company’s Infectious Disease Unit and helped lead the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation investment of up to $40 million. Prior to joining Immunocore, Kevin was President and CEO of Quartet Medicine, a company he co-founded in 2013 while at an entrepreneur-in-residence at Atlas Ventures and held senior executive R&D and corporate development roles at several other venture-backed companies. He is currently heading up the implementation of Beyond Budgeting at Statoil, Scandinavia's largest company. Bjarte is also Chairman of Beyond Budgeting Roundtable (BBRT) and has helped numerous companies globally getting started on their own Beyond Budgeting journey. Welcome to our new podcast series for 2020: Coffee and Conversation – Workplace Wisdom Unleashed! For 2020, we are moving our monthly, written newsletter over into podcast format, so that you can download and listen while on the go! In the 20 or so years that we have been in executive coaching and organisational development, we have seen the world of the workplace evolve. New trends affecting best practice in leadership, culture and how we organise our work have emerged; others have fallen by the wayside. Along the way, we have been privileged to meet and work with people like you. You have shared your stories; your triumphs and tribulations. We know how powerful these personal stories can be. They have shaped our thinking and we have witnessed the same in people that we work with. And so, as we continue to evolve, we wanted to find a way to capture these stories and share them with you. The output of that creative process? Well, throughout 2020, we will be recording a series of informal conversations with senior business leaders and influencers over a relaxed cup of coffee. Each conversation will have a particular theme, illustrated by our guests’ personal experiences in leading themselves and others. In this podcast I met up with Peter Ballard, currently Head of Xiromed UK, for a coffee and a chat.
