On today´s episode Bob and I talk about the movie CHINATOWN Writen by Robert Towne Directed by Roman Polanski Starring Jack Nicholson Some regard it as the best Noir film ever made, others argue, that it doesn’t fit the Noir genre. Nonetheless its a great film, if you have yet to see it, this is a must see. The Late John Huston, known for directing his share of noir movies, gives a chilling performance as Noah Cross, a very rich and powerful man. Nicholson plays Jake Gittes, a private I who gets swept away (yeah you guessed it) murder, deceit and corruption.

Actually, lets pretend the noise is a generator, and that Bob and I are cozied up in a Bomb shelter, because today we are going to go over to The Twilight Zone. Today´s episode? The Shelter. The Twilight Zone needs no introduction. Bob and I both agree that “The Shelter” is a classic episode. Surprisingly relevant today! That´s what we call a timeless masterpiece. We are looking backwards and rummaging through old stuff, along with some that we feel are instant classics. On this episode we talk about: The Nice Guys Starring: Russell Crow and Ryan Gosling Its a Neo-Noir film set in the 70´s, full of witty humor, mystery, and action. Written and Directed by Shane Black The guy is known for: Lethal Weapon and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang: he brings back the buddy cop movie, giving us a refreshing take on the genre. Anthony Begarozzi also gets a writing credit on this movie, that takes you far away from our costumed heroes and into a dark shadowy world filled with all the classic Noir troupes, blurring the lines between right and wrong, as we follow our flawed heroes down a rabbit hole slowly unweaving the lies, deceit and corruption every step of the way. Bob and I talk a little about The Nice Guys and mostly complain about today´s ridiculous movies. If you haven´t seen The Nice Guys, check it out! It will be a refreshing movie.
