Starring: Russell Crow and Ryan Gosling
Its a Neo-Noir film set in the 70´s, full of witty humor, mystery, and action.
Written and Directed by Shane Black
The guy is known for: Lethal Weapon and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang: he brings back the buddy cop movie, giving us a refreshing take on the genre.
Anthony Begarozzi also gets a writing credit on this movie, that takes you far away from our costumed heroes and into a dark shadowy world filled with all the classic Noir troupes, blurring the lines between right and wrong, as we follow our flawed heroes down a rabbit hole slowly unweaving the lies, deceit and corruption every step of the way.
Bob and I talk a little about The Nice Guys and mostly complain about today´s ridiculous movies. If you haven´t seen The Nice Guys, check it out! It will be a refreshing movie. Call it a diamond in the ruff. I feel its a modern classic, and thats why we are talking about it today.
