Reframing the Role of a Wife
In a world that tells women their value comes from a career and being independent, it’s time to rediscover the beautiful, God-ordained purpose and role of being a wife. In today's video, I will share on the role of being your husband's helper. Popular culture's vision for being a wife is career-focused, 50/50 provider, consumptive stay at home wife, which is totally counter to what the Bible says per Proverbs 14:1, Titus 2, Proverbs 31, Ephesians 5. I share the importance of knowing your husbands mission/values, so you can know what your family vision is and what you are working towards in small steps everyday. There is also a danger in swapping out the working outside the home rat race for the “homemaker influencer” rat race, and I share on why making money should never become your primary focus at home. And lastly a vision for building a home economy that's based on production, stewardship, and resourcefulness. Ladies, You Weren’t Made to Function As Men
This video was recorded in June 2025, but I never shared it. I rediscovered it and in light of recent events felt it was appropriate to share today. I hope this video encourages women to reject the stress of competing in masculine roles and to find the incredible peace and purpose in embracing your God-designed function as helpers, wives, mothers, and creators of your home economy. HOME as your Mission Field
Your home is the most strategic mission field on earth. In fact, Proverbs 14:1 says "The wisest of women builds her home" and then continues to say "a foolish woman tears it down." I also discovered where that quote comes from that I often share "the state of the home reflects the state of the nation." It seems that it is shortened from the German Emperor Wilhelm II (1859–1941) when he said: “The foundation of national welfare is the family. If the family is healthy, then the people and the state are also healthy. The moral strength of a people rests upon the sanctity of the home.” So in light of the injustice that has happened this week. THIS is how we respond. There must be a revival to God's ways and it all starts AT HOME.

It’s Good to be a Wife, Mom, and Home Economist
If older women obey Titus 2—teaching what is “good”— that means discipling young ladies to love husbands, love children, be self-controlled, pure, kind, submissive, and keepers at home. We live in a popular culture that celebrates and encourages university as the only way for young ladies to pursue education. The fruit of these university systems is counter to what Titus 2 says the older ladies are to teach the younger ladies. Women getting married later and later (or maybe not at all). It becomes harder to be a keeper of the home and home with your children because many are enslaved to student loan debt. And their has been no education on the practicalities of managing the home i.e. the home economy. What if instead we give a positive vision for young ladies to be wives, mothers, and home economists. Teaching them skills in these areas so they can thrive in the domain the God said is GOOD.

Homemaking Without Amazon
Today I am sharing why I think homemaking without amazon is so freeing and builds your home economy. And answering the most common questions on why we don't shop from amazon and how. I haven’t bought from Amazon since January 2021. In this video I share the *why* (local economy, small-business ethics, 30-50 % Amazon cuts) and the *how* (auctions, thrift, estate sales, neighbor-first buying). The outcome of our amazon free lifestyle has been less junk, more money saved, and our home that is filled with beautiful, meaningful things. If shopping from amazon is an addiction or causing you anxiety I encourage you to start by trying an amazon free month! The Androgyny vs. Femininity Conversation Continues. Biblical Womanhood and the Home Series
Androgyny isn’t equality—it’s the erasure of design. God didn’t make two interchangeable prototypes; He made man and woman equal in value AND uniquely different. Let's celebrate being a woman! Reject the “you must go to college/have a career” script, and instead build a thriving home economy under God’s direction! What a wonderful beautiful life. Leaving Androgyny. Embracing Biblical Femininity: Biblical Womanhood and the Home Series
Today were talking about androgyny, and if you’re anything like me, this word was fairly unfamiliar to my vocabulary, but once you get it, you can’t unsee it— it’s everywhere! Many, including Christians, think and talk of men and women being the same, functioning the same. And you’ll start hearing it in the way people talk, it’s like “Ohhhh okay, I understand your world view. And your world view and our world view is very different.” We believe that God is our Creator and He made man and He made women, equal in importance, value, yet unique in our functions and design. And so we need to know how our Creator designed us His Creations to function. Why are women struggling so much today in their roles of being a helper, wife, mother and keeper of the home? Because we are not living in our God given design. For most women, their whole life has been preparing them to function as men, so they don’t know how to function as a woman. This sounds ridiculous but it’s so true, many women don’t know how to keep a home. Many women resent their husband and children, they think they are keeping them from their “calling or purpose” They think that being a helper to their husband, a mother and keeper of the home is second class, lesser than work. But have you ever thought the reason all these things are SO hard is because you’ve spent your whole life preparing to be anything but a wife mom and keeper of the home- no wonder it’s a struggle! The Wisest of Women Builds her Home: The Home Economy & The Local Economy
What does it mean to be a manager of your home economy and what role do you play in your local economy? Being a homemaker is a valuable and biblical calling that not only blesses your family (home), but also your local community. Supporting your local economy is a direct way to "love your neighbor as yourself," keeping money within your community rather than sending it to distant corporations. And I share our personal testimony and story with this. Watch video here: https://youtu.be/h9K3Jy1Eavs?si=5_cEjTANrqnQVd02

God Provides! Encouragement for the Christian Homemaker
Part of a series on "Biblical Womanhood and the Home Economy," my hope is to encourage Christian women to trust in God's provision, especially when aspiring to be homemakers. Living by faith means prioritizing God's word, per Titus 2 (loving husbands, loving children, being keepers of the home) and trusting that God will provide a way for these priorities to be fulfilled! And I believe in the power of sharing testimonies—both biblical and personal—as encouragement that God is faithful and He performs miracles for those who obey Him. Our true hope is found not in the outcome, but in Jesus himself, trusting that "He works all things together for the good of those who love Him." Helping You Become a Homemaker “in this economy”
Here are the the practical aspects of homemaking on one income, challenging the common belief that both spouses must work. When I quit my job to be a full time homemaker in 2018, I had learned to shift my mindset from a consumer to a producer. "Lack of resources created resourcefulness." And something that often doesn't get talked about is when a wife chooses to quit her job to prioritize being a helpmeet and homemaker, it allows the husband to more fully embrace his God-given role as provider, AND encourages wives to pray for their husbands' provision and trust in God's faithfulness. Don’t Believe the Propaganda Keeping You out of the Home
The common societal belief is that both spouses must work outside of the home. This often stems from ingrained cultural "propaganda" rather than God's word. I hope this podcast encourages Christian women to embrace their biblical role of a homemaker, as outlined in Titus 2. Societal pressures often push women toward careers, causing them to doubt God's calling to the home. But your role in your home is so important! Did God Really Say? Biblical Womanhood & The Home Series
This is the kickoff umbrella podcast of a year-long series on Biblical Womanhood, the Home and the Home Economy. Every woman—single or married—has a God-given job description spelled out in Titus 2: Love husband / children Be self-controlled (“discreet”) Pure & chaste (no sex outside marriage) Kind, keeper of the home Submit to husbandLet older women teach younger women these things so “the word of God may not be blasphemed.” We live in a society that tells women to chase degrees and careers until age 30; many end up 35+ and distraught that Mr. Right has never materialized. Whereas younger brides adapt faster and grow with their husbands. Same goes for how society has encouraged women to post pone having children for as long as possible. Kids are arrows, not anchors. My husband always says "Home is the forward operating base of Heaven.” I hope this series encourages you to embrace your God given design as woman- get married, have children and master your home economy.
