Here are the the practical aspects of homemaking on one income, challenging the common belief that both spouses must work. When I quit my job to be a full time homemaker in 2018, I had learned to shift my mindset from a consumer to a producer. "Lack of resources created resourcefulness."
And something that often doesn't get talked about is when a wife chooses to quit her job to prioritize being a helpmeet and homemaker, it allows the husband to more fully embrace his God-given role as provider, AND encourages wives to pray for their husbands' provision and trust in God's faithfulness.
