In this episode, we explore the fundamental differences between life coaching and counselling. Life coaching is a proactive and goal-oriented approach that focuses on guiding individuals to set and achieve personal and professional goals.
On the other hand, counselling is a therapeutic process that aims to address emotional distress, trauma, and mental health challenges.
We discuss the various methods and goals of both practices, the ethical considerations involved, and provide guidance on choosing the most suitable option based on individual needs and circumstances.
Ultimately, seeking professional support for personal growth and emotional well-being is a crucial step towards leading a fulfilling life.

Being "spiritual" can have different meanings depending on an individual's beliefs and perspectives. In general, spirituality refers to a deeply personal and subjective experience of connection to something greater than oneself. It involves seeking meaning, purpose, and a sense of transcendence in life.
Being spiritual often involves a search for inner peace, personal growth, and a connection to a higher power, the divine, or a universal consciousness. It may involve practices such as meditation, prayer, contemplation, mindfulness, or engaging in activities that bring a sense of awe, wonder, or connectedness with nature or the cosmos.
Spirituality can also encompass ethical and moral values, compassion, and a sense of interconnectedness with all living beings. It can involve cultivating qualities like gratitude, forgiveness, and loving-kindness.
Ultimately, being spiritual is a deeply personal and individual journey, where one seeks to find a sense of purpose, meaning, and connection that goes beyond the material world. It is about exploring and nurturing the innermost aspects of oneself and developing a broader perspective on life and existence.
This week Sam and Loren talk about what tapping into spirituality means for them.

The concept of the inner child is based on the idea that we all have an inner representation of ourselves as we were during childhood. This inner child represents our innocence, vulnerability, and emotional needs. When our needs as children are not fully met or when we experience traumas or neglect, these unhealed aspects of our inner child can continue to impact our adult lives.
Working on inner child healing as an adult is important because it allows us to understand and heal the emotional wounds that may still influence our thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. By addressing and healing these wounds, we can experience greater self-awareness, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
In this episode, we explore Sam's traumas and talk through them together.

Grief is a natural and normal response to loss, and it can manifest in a variety of ways depending on the person and their individual experience. Grief can result from many different types of loss, such as the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or the loss of a job or home and even a death of a previous version of yourself.
Grief isn't linear, and overall is a natural and normal process that allows individuals to work through the pain of loss and eventually find a sense of healing and acceptance. It can be a difficult and challenging experience, but with time, patience, and support, individuals can learn to cope and move forward in a healthy way.
Tune into this weeks episode where we open up and be completely vulnerable about our experience with grief.

Impostor syndrome is a psychological phenomenon where an individual doubts their achievements, skills, or accomplishments, and has a persistent fear of being exposed as a fraud or a fake. Despite external evidence of their competence, individuals with impostor syndrome tend to feel that they are not as capable as others perceive them to be, and they attribute their successes to luck or external factors rather than their own abilities.
Impostor syndrome can have significant repercussions on self-worth, as individuals with this syndrome often experience feelings of shame, self-doubt, and inadequacy. They may be highly critical of themselves, and feel that they are not good enough or deserving of success. This can lead to a cycle of self-sabotage, where they may avoid taking risks, or pass up opportunities for growth and development due to a fear of failure or exposure.
Tune into todays episode where we talk about our imposter syndrome and how it has impacted our self-worth over the years.

Regardless of our gender or the gender we identify with, we are all made of energy, masculine and feminine energies. We can see this in nature as well. Masculine and feminine go in pair, they nourish each other. This is part of the duality that makes everything in our world.
Looking at the energies within us and trying to balance them by reintegrating and embodying more of the feminine energy is the key to much healthier relationships and a more balanced & better world!
Dive into today's episode as we unpack our own energies and where we sit on the masc. vs fem. spectrum.

Boundaries refer to the limits and guidelines we set for ourselves and others in various aspects of our lives, including emotional, physical, and mental boundaries. These limits help us define what is acceptable and what is not, and they help us to protect our wellbeing, safety, and happiness.
Having boundaries means being clear about our limits, and communicating them to others in a respectful manner. For example, setting emotional boundaries means being clear about what behaviours or actions are not acceptable to us, and expressing our needs and feelings when they are violated.
Having boundaries is an essential aspect of self-care and personal growth. It helps us to establish healthy relationships, improve our self-esteem, and create a sense of safety and security in our lives. At the same time, having boundaries allows us to respect the boundaries of others, and build mutually beneficial relationships based on trust, respect, and understanding.

What's it mean to be in alignment? Being in alignment from a spiritual perspective refers to the state where an individual feels a sense of harmony and unity with the universe, their inner self, and their higher purpose. This state is characterised by a sense of inner peace, clarity of mind, and a strong connection with one's intuition.
When we are in alignment, we feel like we are in sync with the flow of life, and everything seems to fall into place effortlessly. We feel a deep sense of fulfillment, purpose, and joy in our daily life.
Achieving alignment requires a deep understanding of oneself, including one's beliefs, values, and desires, and aligning them with the greater purpose of the universe. This may involve practices such as meditation, prayer, introspection, and self-reflection.
