What 👏 a 👏 year 👏!
Just like many of our friends and peers that we’ve caught up with over the last few months, it sounds like this year has definitely taken the word challenge to a new level. But like we always say, these experiences only makes us stronger.
You know what has also built us up over the years, all the amazing people we’ve spoken to, the guests who’ve kindly connected and shared their journey and all the wonderful people we meet through this channel.
So let’s end the year with something chill & cosy and we’ll go through one last set of “Let’s get deep” questions for the year.
But don’t get too comfy because we have a bit of catch up to do & a big update to share at the end.

As generations change, we’re seeing more and more women taking the lead when it comes to making the first move—whether it’s in dating, friendships, or even professional networking.
Join us as we discuss why we think this can have benefits while Sam also shares his thoughts on this shift. This shift in dynamic can open up new, empowering possibilities for everyone!
For women, making the first move is about embracing confidence, clarity, and control over our own choices. And for men, it often removes some of the pressure, paving the way for even better connections that are built on mutual interest and intention.
Disclaimer: this is not a topic about gender biases, it’s purely discussing the shifts we see and our personal thoughts behind why we take certain approaches.

There is no right or wrong in how to make and maintain friendships (well mostly anyway).
We have good friends, best friends. Then there are also some that you hang out with but on occasion. AND THEN there’s ones where you don't necessarily have the deep connection, good to hang out with but also not close either. So we’re here to discuss all those friends that sit in between, casually, sometimes convenient.
If you know us, we’re big on alignment and having friends that we can have fun and discuss deep talking about. However, a question that has popped us for the both of us lately is..
Do ALL our friends always need to fully align to us, especially the casual ones?
How do we find the balance between keeping good boundaries & alignment but also not being too strict & limit ourselves on making friends?

There is a saying that we as humans are the harshest critics to ourselves when it comes to seeing and seeking self-value. Adding in external voices from others, it can get a bit much and cloud our judgement in how we see ourselves.
But we also have to remember that we are also our own biggest cheerleaders too. If we can’t stand up for ourselves when we need it the most or see our own worth. The reality is that sometimes no one will come save us but ourselves.
So today we wanted to share some moments where we’ve questioned our own worth, how we’ve worked through our struggles when external validation can be louder than self worth and how we worked through to understand our value again. We both uncover why valuing ourselves more can lead to a more fulfilling, balanced life, and how we can start shifting our mindset to do so.
We know that there are days where it can be a struggle and we all have our phases and we’re here to say that it’s okay. We’ve been through it too.
Hopefully this episode brings some great perspectives and some inspiration for you to keep going and to keep believing in yourself. Even if other people don’t. We’re here for you!
