The Charge of The Sent
Pastor Gradi kicks off our new series Mission Minded with a stirring challenge from Matthew 10:1-15. Jesus is sending us out just as He sent the apostles, and He never asks us to do what He Himself has not already done. That is why He is the perfect mediator. God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called, and this is what it means to live mission minded. Pastor Gradi brings the apostles’ story to life in a relatable way, showing that we are called to preach the gospel not only with words but through action. Don’t fear rejection, if they listen, give God the glory. If they don’t, shake it off and keep moving. Some plant, others water, but the Lord gives the growth. Our focus isn’t on those who turn away but on those who are being saved. This is the charge of the sent, bold, urgent, and unstoppable.

God Within Reach
MK takes us on a journey through Matthew 9:18-34, where stories of healing, compassion, and faith come alive. The message is clear: faith pushes past barriers, so bring your needs to Jesus no matter how overwhelming life feels. We don’t serve a distant God, Jesus draws near with kindness and care. And when He Himself was tested, every question and criticism only confirmed who He truly is. This sermon is an invitation to trust the One whose power and presence are always within reach.
Christ Over Customs
In this dynamic sermon, MK dives into Matthew 9:14-17 with a message that shakes off empty tradition and points us straight to Jesus. First, don’t rule out Christ by your own rules: He is greater than our customs. Second, choose relationship over ritual: what He desires is your heart, not hollow habits. Third, with Jesus it’s new or nothing: His presence brings transformation, not patchwork fixes. This word calls us to break free from the old, step into the new, and walk boldly in the life and freedom that only Christ gives.

Authority in Action
In this insightful and theologically rich sermon, MK unpacks Matthew 9:1-8 with three core truths: Point one, you can’t do Christianity alone. Point two, only Jesus does what God can do. Point three, Jesus has authority to forgive sin because He is God. From there, MK dives into five reasons why Christ’s forgiveness is so vital: 1) Forgiveness is humanity’s deepest need. 2) His authority to forgive proves His divine identity. 3) No other religious system offers forgiveness through the personal act of God. 4) Salvation is found exclusively in Jesus. 5) His forgiveness brings not only pardon, but reconciliation with God and the promise of eternal life. A powerful reminder that the authority of Jesus is not just spoken, it’s in action.

Even the Demons Know
In this eye-opening and powerful sermon, Tara Smith unpacks Matthew 8:28-34 where Jesus confronts two demon-possessed men. Point one: Even the demons know who Jesus is they recognise His authority instantly. Point two: They acknowledge Him as the great redeemer, knowing the power and judgement He carries. And point three: Even the demons know how easily distracted we are this can be seen in the text where the pigs running off a cliff steal our attention from a miraculous deliverance. Tara challenges us to not just know of Jesus, but to truly follow Him, undistracted and anchored in truth.

Why Would I Let You Drown?
In this bold and faith-stirring message, Shekinah Lumeka brings to life the story of Jesus calming the storm in Matthew 8:23-27. With passion and clarity, she challenges us to examine the depth of our relationship with God. Point one: Do you truly know Him, or do you treat Him like a genie? Is He just the God of breakthrough, or is He your Lord, honoured, trusted, and revered? Point two: It’s Jesus or nothing. No substitutes, no additions, full faith, full surrender. And point three: Why would Jesus let you drown? You’ve seen Him save others, what makes you think He won’t come through for you? This message is a call to trust deeply, worship sincerely, and anchor your faith in the One who commands the winds and waves.

True Mark of Discipleship
In this heartfelt and challenging message, Pastor James unpacks Matthew 8:18-22, where Jesus speaks plainly about the cost of following Him. Through this passage, and woven with his own powerful testimony of choosing Christ, Pastor James invites us to reflect on what true discipleship looks like. It’s not comfort, convenience, or compromise; it’s surrender, sacrifice, and a steady walk of faith. A stirring reminder that following Jesus costs something, but it’s worth everything.

Healing & Deliverance
In this powerful and faith-building message, Pastor Peter Nembhard takes us through Matthew 8:14-22, where Jesus heals Peter’s mother-in-law and delivers many who were oppressed. With clarity and conviction, Pastor P unpacks how these moments reveal the authority of Jesus not just in history, but here and now. Healing and deliverance weren’t just for then; they’re available today. Whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, Jesus still sets people free. Come expecting. Leave transformed.

The God of the Unclean and Far Away
TJ kicked off our new series Authority Unlisted with a powerful and hope-filled message from Matthew 8:1-13. In this passage, Jesus reaches out to heal two unlikely people: a man with leprosy and the servant of a Roman centurion. One was seen as unclean, the other as too far removed. Yet Jesus responds with compassion, authority, and healing. TJ reminds us that we don’t have to have it all together to come to Jesus. He’s the God who touches the untouchable, heals across distance, and still wants to meet us right where we are. Just like the outcast and the outsider, we are invited to come in faith, just as we are.

Walk The Talk
You’ve heard the Word, but are you living it? Pastor Gradi Tomene wraps up the Firm Foundation sub-series and brings the Sermon on the Mount to a close with a straight-talking message from Matthew 7:24-29. Jesus paints a clear picture: the wise build on the rock, while the foolish build on sand. It’s not just about listening, it’s about doing - being doers of the Word, not just hearers (James 1:22). This is a moment of decision, as Deuteronomy 30:19 reminds us, we are called to choose life and not death. Are you building your life on something solid? This message is all about choosing wisely, living intentionally, and making sure your foundation can weather the storms. Let’s walk the talk together.

Lord of All or Not at All
In this stirring message, Pastor Peter Nembhard takes us through Matthew 7:21-23 with passion and clarity. As we continue our Firm Foundation series, he reminds us that it’s not enough to simply call Jesus “Lord” we must live it. True relationship with God is shown through obedience to His will. A heartfelt challenge to examine our walk and make sure He’s not just Lord in name, but Lord of all.
