All of Me
The Trunk of a Tree

For those who have been paying attention you may have noticed that it has been over 2 and a half years since the previous episode. The reason for this ties in with the rest of my story.

This episode is for anyone who has ever felt alone when they are not or who has has disappeared when life got too hard.

You are here because you chose to be, you may be one of many or you may be the only one who pressed play. It doesn’t matter. I am just grateful to be back here, telling my story. And if it touches you in some way, if it makes you stand taller today. My work is done.

The next little pile of words I will be sharing with you is called The trunk of a tree. The serendipity hit me pretty hard when I realised that this is where I would be starting from today

All of Me
Parental Jealousy and I Need You

This year has been horrifying, isolating, defeating, demoralising and just plain mean. But as we start to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I can appreciate what 2020 has done for me. The global pandemic that saw an entire planet locked down by governments, and generations fighting for rights against protection, has forced me to undo a lot of the journey I have been on. And it was a miracle.

I can honestly say that I now understand myself clearer that I have since I was a child. I have more faith in myself and my moral grounding, more tools in my emotional backpack and more layers in my defence field.

The first pile of words you will hear today are called Parental Jealousy. It took me a long time to grow the courage to say these words out loud. To share them. It hurts even now to remember them.

The second little pile of words you will hear today is about need.
