This problem needs urgent attention of local civic authorities and city planners. With the largest number of stray dogs and highest number of rabies cases in the world, India definitely has a problem. Unfortunately, there’s no solution in sight because we are ignoring this as a problem since long. The World Health Organisation estimates there are around 200 million stray dogs worldwide. Impressively, the Netherlands is not contributing to this statistic.
