We need to build a future in which communities can thrive.
Infrastructure is not just about super highways, Megha airports, roads and bridges intact it should build with an emphasis on people and the environment which can make our communities more resilient, supports fare wages jobs, affordable healthcare services, affordable housing and which can address social issues like income disparities, Animal cruelty, black marketing, corruption, inflation, food adulteration and power misuse etc etc.
We need to build a future in which communities can thrive.
Why our governments are failing in addressing important problems, citizens facing in day to day life.
Today I will share the problem of stray dogs in India. This problem needs urgent attention of local civic authorities and city planners.
With the largest number of stray dogs and highest number of rabies cases in the world, India definitely has a problem. Unfortunately, there’s no solution in sight because we are ignoring this as a problem since long.
The World Health Organisation estimates there are around 200 million stray dogs worldwide. Impressively, the Netherlands is not contributing to this statistic. It has become the first country in the world without any stray dogs!
