【マルカイハワイ 東北フェア 2025】が今年もホノルルで開催されます。
青森県は三方を海に囲まれ、海の恵みや山の幸にあふれた本州最北の地。
その豊かな自然が生んだ“おいしい青森県産品”を次世代に引き継ぐため、

DR小林恵一のレクチャー「老化について」
ハワイ草月流いけばな展 Neiman Marcus での作者インタビューです。
今回、展示会場で草月流師範のクリステンさんにお会いしました。ちょうど彼女の作品「ショートドレス」の前でお話を伺うことができました。
この作品は、花材にバニヤンツリーの根の部分と、淡いラベンダーカラーの可憐なカップアンドソーサを用いたもの。ご自身の名にある「秋」を意識しながら、色合いにこだわって仕上げられています。コンセプトから花材まで、公園などで探し歩き、バレリーナのイメージも重ねたそうです。
クリステンさんは華道を始めて16〜17年。日本にも何度も訪れており、毎年10月に開催される草月いけばな展についても紹介してくださいました。

早稲田大学ハワイ稲門会は、創立50周年を記念する式典を、2025年8月16日（土）、ワイキキヨットクラブで盛大に開催しました。
当日は、早稲田大学総長・早稲田大学校友会会長の田中愛治総長をお迎えし、バンコク、ロサンゼルス、サンフランシスコ、北九州、茅ヶ崎など、世界各地から校友が60名ほど集まりました。遠く離れた地から太平洋の真ん中ハワイへ！会場は再会の喜びと、母校を想う温かな絆に包まれました。
ハワイ稲門会は、これからもハワイを拠点に、世界中の校友とのつながりを大切に育みながら、さらなる交流と発展をされることでしょう。

The Waseda University Hawaii Tomonkai proudly celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a grand ceremony held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Waikiki Yacht Club.
On this special occasion, we welcomed Waseda University President and Alumni Association Chair, Dr. Aiji Tanaka. Approximately 60 alumni gathered from around the world—including Bangkok, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Kitakyushu, and Chigasaki—coming together in the heart of the Pacific, here in Hawaii. The event was filled with the joy of reunion and the warm bonds of friendship, all united by a shared love for our alma mater.
Looking ahead, the Hawaii Tomonkai will continue to foster connections with Waseda alumni worldwide, deepening friendships and promoting further exchange and growth from its base here in Hawaii.
Following the closing of the ceremony, President Tanaka shared a heartfelt message with all listeners on makana.fm.
