Welcome to Womenkind Collective: Spill The Tea, the podcast where no topic is off-limits, and every conversation is served with honesty, humour, and heart.

Hosted by lifelong friends Jinty and Lou, we bring you a vibrant, weekly mix of education, laughter, and real talk. From health and hormones to family, relationships, equity, and the realities of menopause, we tackle the topics that matter—especially the ones society often shies away from.

Menopause might not be our sole focus, but it’s a conversation that keeps coming up—for good reason. With the help of expert guests, including Menopause specialists, GPs, Gynaecologists, Nutritionists, Sleep Therapists, Cancer Survivors, Advocates, and Campaigners, we provide evidence-based facts, real-life experiences, and the support you deserve.

Beyond the podcast, we take action. We founded Exmouth’s first Menopause Café, giving women a space to connect, and launched the #WheresMyClinic campaign, fighting for an NHS Menopause Clinic in Devon. We’ve even spilled the tea live on BBC Radio Devon, hosting their first-ever menopause café.

So, whether you’re navigating the ups and downs of hormones, curious about the latest health insights, or just here for the relatable stories (and occasional faux pas), grab a cuppa and join us.

It’s time to spill the tea—because the conversations we have today can change the way we live tomorrow.

Intergenerational Trauma with Dr Manpreet Dhuffar Pottiwal

This week, we’re joined by the brilliant Dr. Manpreet Dhuffar-Pottiwal - psychologist, TEDx speaker, and unapologetic mental health disruptor.

With over 15 years’ experience, she brings a feminist, anti-oppressive lens to her work on intergenerational trauma, multigenerational families, and behavioural addictions.

She’s the founder of MultiGen Zen, on a mission to decolonise therapy, bring healing to minoritised communities, and challenge the systems that silence us.

Dr. Manpreet says:

"We all exist in family trees. There are the roots which carry our DNA and where we find ourselves in the world, the leaves are the burdens which we inherit from our elders, and the fruits are the gifts which they also hand down to us."

This conversation is deep, honest, and empowering — about the trauma we inherit and the power we have to break the cycle.

WomenKind Collective
Spilling the Tea on Internalised Misogyny with Lauren Currie OBE

This week on Spill the tea with Womenkind Collective we’re diving deep into the conversations that matter and we wanted to talk about internalised misogyny and why so many women judge another woman, is this a deep patriarchal conditioning to keep women divided? Who better to help us unpack this emotive topic than the fabulous Lauren Currie OBE.

Lauren is an incredible keynote speaker, and for seven years, she served as the chairperson of Pregnant Then Screwed. She is the founder of UPFRONT, a ground-breaking organisation on a mission to transform confidence, visibility, and power for 10 million women. Thousands of women across 50+ countries have already graduated from her flagship programme, The UPFRONT Bond, proving that this is more than a movement—it’s a revolution.

Her impact has not gone unnoticed—she’s been recognised as a woman changing the world by Elle Magazine and named one of Management Today’s top businesswomen under 35. In 2017, Lauren was awarded an OBE for her services to design and diversity.

Together we explore:

1) What internalised misogyny really is- and how to recognise it

2) How judgment of women by other women is driven by social conditioning and invisible 'rules'

3) The role of media in reinforcing harmful gender stereotypes

4) How to unlearn internalised bias and rewire confidence

5) The personal moment Lauren realised she had internalised misogyny- and what changed after that

6) The story behind make-up free moments, with celebrities like Pamela Anderson, and how they still provoke judgment

and more!

Our Book Club gets under way and we discuss the first 2 chapters of our book for this series, How To Kill A Witch. A guide For The Patriarchy, by Claire Mitchell & Zoe Venditozzi, and already we are hooked!

There’s some weekly inspiration to give you some good news stories that you might have missed, and there’s a beautiful quote to send you off for the week with.

It’s an episode brimming with chat and all the usual shenanigans! So, go and get the kettle on and settle in for our weekly collective chat while we spill the tea with Lauren Currie!

WomenKind Collective
Witches, Tartan & Truth with The Witches of Scotland, Claire Mitchell & Zoe Venditozzi

Welcome to our new series of Spill The Tea with Womenkind Collective!

This week is our Book Club special and our book for series 13 is a huge part of feminine history, How To Kill A Witch. A Guide For The Patriarchy, by Claire Mitchell & Zoe Venditozzi.

The book is a powerful, poignant and razor sharp read, that has already sparked important questions around the witch trials and the murder of countless (mostly) women. Claire and Zoe discuss why this book needed to be written and together these two amazing women are restoring forgotten voices and fighting for justice that is centuries overdue.

There is a growing interest and solidarity around the history of the witch trials, not just as something from the past, but as a symbol of sisterhood, resistance, and the ongoing fight against systems that still try to silence and control women. And this book doesn’t just tell the story—it demands that we listen.

In the first part of this interview (we had to do 2 parts because there is just so much to talk about with these fantastic women!) we talk about the Witches of Scotland tartan, a beautiful symbol of defiance woven into a traditional Scottish tartan, how these two met and what drove them to write this book. Part two will be available later in the series.

If you want to read along, we will be reading from the introduction up to chapter 3.

There’s some weekly inspiration to give you some good news stories that you might have missed, and there’s a beautiful quote to send you off for the week with.

It’s an episode brimming with chat and all the usual sweary shenanigans! So, go and get the kettle on and settle in for our weekly collective chat while we spill the tea!

WomenKind Collective
For the love of Nipples with Tattoo artist Lucy Thompson

Welcome to our new series of Spill The Tea with Womenkind Collective!

We’re diving deep into the conversations that matter—exploring the real, raw, and often overlooked topics affecting our health and well-being. Each week, we sit down with inspiring people who are breaking barriers and championing positive change.

This week, we’re joined by the incredible Lucy Thompson, a tattoo artist on a mission to change lives through her work and advocacy.

Lucy made history as the UK’s first certified A.R.T. 3D nipple tattoo artist and is the founder of the Nipple Innovation Project. Her journey began with a deeply personal moment in 2016, after her aunt— a breast cancer survivor — was left feeling devastated by a poorly done hospital nipple tattoo.

That moment sparked Lucy’s passion to do better, to be better, and to offer dignity, confidence, and healing through art.

In this powerful episode, we explore Lucy’s story, her impact on post-mastectomy care, and the transformative power of using creativity to restore what cancer tried to take away.

 We also dive into:

• Why the current hospital-standard nipple tattoos often don’t work

• How permanent 3D nipple tattoos offer a life-changing alternative

• The emotional and physical impact of medical tattooing done right

• The mission behind the UK’s first mastectomy tattoo charity

• What breast cancer survivors aren’t being told—and why that needs to change

Whether you’re a survivor, artist, healthcare worker, or just curious—this episode is a must-listen.

So, grab your cuppa, get comfy, and join us for an inspiring and honest conversation—it's time to Spill The Tea with Lucy Thompson.

There’s some weekly inspiration to give you some good news stories that you might have missed, and there’s a beautiful quote to send you off for the week with.

WomenKind Collective
Menopause, Movement & Mindset with Dinah Siman

Welcome to a brand new Podcast episode of Spill The Tea with Womenkind Collective!

We’re diving deep into the conversations that matter—exploring the real, raw, and often overlooked topics affecting our health and well-being.

Each week, we sit down with inspiring women who are breaking barriers and championing positive change—and today’s guest is no exception.

Meet Dinah Siman—a movement educator, menopause Pilates instructor, author, and the creator of an accredited CPD menopause awareness course for Pilates teachers. She’s also a go-to voice on social media for all things movement and menopause.

Dinah is dedicated to helping women navigate the often confusing and overwhelming transitions of menopause. From managing pain and overcoming injuries, to regaining a sense of control over your body and mind—she’s helping women reclaim their strength and rewrite the narrative.

But Dinah’s journey started like so many of ours, joint pain, sleep deprivation, brain fog and anxiety. Instead of letting it stop her, she turned her experience into purpose, developing a powerful, holistic approach to movement that empowers women to move through menopause with confidence and clarity.

In today’s episode, we’ll chat about:

• The physical and emotional shifts that come with menopause

• How our relationships evolve during this season of life

• Why Pilates is more than just exercise—it’s a tool for transformation

• How menopause, rather than a crisis, can be a catalyst for growth and power.

So, grab a cuppa and settle in—because it’s time to Spill The Tea with Dinah Siman.

There’s our new WI which stands for weekly inspiration, to give you some good news stories that you might have missed, and there’s a beautiful quote to send you off for the Easter holidays with.

WomenKind Collective
