April 8 Solar Eclipse 2024 - Not Armageddon. Not the End of the World. Just God's Glory on Display!
They will be exposed to the sun and the moon and all the stars of the heavens, which they have loved and served and which they have followed and consulted and worshiped. They will not be gathered up or buried, but will be like dung lying on the ground. Jeremiah 8:2
The heavens declare the glory of God Psalm 19:1a
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Hebrews 1:3a
As you read through the Torah, one thing becomes perfectly clear—the nation of Israel was not perfect. Over and over again God provides for them, protects them, and does incredible things in their presence, yet they sin and turn away from Him. On more than one occasion God was planning to either punish or destroy them. But every time they repented, God relented. He forgave their sin and kept His promises.
This passage beautifully describes God’s heart toward the nation of Israel. He uses such tender and loving language. He assures them that they will never be alone, that He will always walk with them.
This passage isn’t only for Israel, it applies to us today. You can have the confidence that God is with you, that He will be with you through the good and the bad. Even when we fall, all we have to do is turn back to Him and He will be there waiting for us. So if you're passing through some turbulent waters, be at peace and know that God will never leave you and that He will always watch over you.
What does it mean to really trust God? Would you build a boat in the middle of the desert where people had never seen rain before? Noah did!
What does it mean to live by faith? Today, our guest is my son, Daniel Amaral. He shares his inspiring story and journey from shy kid, to full-time ministry.

What does it mean that every knee will bow at the name of Jesus? In this episode, I share the testimony of a former warlord and his powerful encounter with the risen Jesus. Once you hear it, you will never read Philippians 2:9-11 the same way again. Every knee shall bow! "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:9-11

Today I am joined by my good friend, Chris Atkins. Chris is a seasoned Producer with almost 70 trips to Israel. He and I have been working together for more than 20 years. Without Chris Atkins, there would be no Joe Amaral.
Chris was in Israel and flew out the same day that Hamas launched its unprecedented and deadly attack against Israel in the early hours of October 7, 2023.
After taking cover in a bunker at the Ben Gurion Airport, Chris was on one of the last flights, if not the last flight, out of the war zone. They had to wait for a lull in rocket fire in order to take off.
He shares his personal story and Chris and I talk about our collective experiences in Israel with both Jews and Palestinians.
I hope you enjoy my interview with J Gallegos on his "That’s the Truth" podcast.
Joe Amaral talks about his new book, “Jesusly” The Act of Being Like Jesus.
He explains what it looks like to embrace the outcast, the outsider and the overlooked.
We delve deeper into understanding the Bible, Jesus and people from a cultural perspective.
This is an interview I did with Eddy Mufy from Denmark regarding The Power of Kindness.
When you commit to a life of living Jesusly, you never know where n the world it will take you or who your actions will impact.
From Joe Amaral, the best-selling author of “Understanding Jesus” and “Story in the Stars”, comes the new book “Jesusly: The Act of Being Like Jesus”.
DESCRIPTION:
JESUSLY: a journey through the Gospel of Luke. As we follow Jesus, we discover the often hidden and deeper meaning behind many of his teachings and actions as we learn about the history and culture in which he lived.
As followers of Jesus, it’s important to know which Jesus to follow. Hollywood has portrayed him one way and modern Christianity showcases a completely different Jesus than we find in the Scriptures.
Luke shows us a Jesus who has no problem breaking barriers and going outside of the accepted social norm if it means meeting the needs of a person who has felt abandoned and rejected. Jesus seeks out the outcast. He’s drawn to the outsider and he sees the overlooked. This is the Jesus that I am encouraging us to imitate. To be Jesusly, we must replicate the actions and love of the Saviour towards those whom society has silenced and sidelined.
Imagine a world where people loved people the way Jesus did. What if all the people on the planet who follow Jesus started living and loving like he did?
Consider what it would be like for people who have felt rejected and discarded to feel loved and valued. Suppose the outcasts are welcomed back home with open arms. Can you picture a world where people who look and think differently than you do, feel seen and loved?
Understanding the history of Jesus is what helps us understand the Jesus of history.
May we all seek to be a little more Jesusly.

Joe Amaral Interview with Jon Erwin: Director of the Jesus Revolution Film
Recently, I had the privilege of interviewing Jon Erwin, the producer of the Hollywood film: #jesusrevolution The true story of a national spiritual awakening in the early 1970s and its origins within a community of teenage hippies in Southern California.
This is my own personal firsthand account of watching a tumour shrink before my very eyes after praying for a Pastor in Liberia. Share this video with someone who needs encouragement and needs to be reminded that God can still heal today. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.
