Keith & Freya are on the plot cutting back the grass for the first time in months as a few weeks of heavier rain in England has spurred growth. It's time to plant out the spring greens for 2026, remembering to net the plants to keep the butterflies and birds off a crop which will feed us from next March. Freya is also planting some spicy salad leaves and Mizuna and the potato harvest for 2025 continues with our reds.

But today we discuss what has fed us and what has struggled a little in these warm and sunny conditions over the growing season. We've got edible grapes, all grown outside and ripening now as the farmers bring in the combine harvesters in the Cotswolds.
