Keith & Freya are on the plot cutting back the grass for the first time in months as a few weeks of heavier rain in England has spurred growth. It's time to plant out the spring greens for 2026, remembering to net the plants to keep the butterflies and birds off a crop which will feed us from next March. Freya is also planting some spicy salad leaves and Mizuna and the potato harvest for 2025 continues with our reds.

Basil Faulty? Sunshine, watering and some of this year's successes and failures!
Keith & Freya are on the plot today with watering cans in hand as this year's fab English summer continues. But it's not all been success in the sunshine. This week we hear about the successes and failures as the very dry season continues. Some crops have been abundant with others needing a bit more TLC.
