Growing up certain values are imposed upon us and that is the same thing that happens when it comes to defining what success is we define it for ourselves according to how it is perceived by society without even thinking about whether that aligns with who we are. In this episode, we unpack why it is crucial for you to define what success is for you, and how failure to do that results in feelings of inadequacy, comparison, jealousy and envy.

In the last part of our Self-love series, we are in conversation with Sethu Sirayi, talking about the love language of being romantic to yourself, where there exists a firm belief that each of your mornings are cute and fun, every sip of coffee is tasteful and the best. The self-love language of buying yourself flowers, candles. It is when we truly start with these small things that we look forward to each day and get more in love with ourselves.
When we talk about love in its general sense we all agree to the fact that it has its own language that differs for each of us, and so does self-love, it's definitely not about the mental note to love yourself but also actions through self-love languages. In this episode, we explore emotional wellness, checking in with yourself more often as a self-love language together with our guest Lois Mashinini. She is the founder of Lif Wellness, Girl Chat SA and a podcast Lif Women and Wellness that you definitely must check out.
