the few months that i went missing here, i have been doing a lot of reflection circling around past events of celebrating ramadhan, eid and also life after all these. i thought a lot about what it means to have a home, outgrow what you could once call home and feeling stuck in life in general.
Please please please, stop pleasing people at the expense of your own happiness. This time, we’ll dive into what could potentially make a person become a people pleaser, those who go out of their way to make others feel good even when it means sacrificing their own boundaries. We’ll chat about things to reflect on; deciding who deserves to experience our kindness and care. Hopefully, we will all be more mindful of how others treat us as much as we want to treat others kindly.

This episode invites you to explore the different ways we can view self-love and also some of the ways we can love ourselves better. This episode dives into the comment of looking like an unfriendly person, mostly due to our neutral facial expression that is upsetting-the RBF, aka resting bitch face. I recall my past experiences of having my rbf being pointed out, hoping that others who face the same resonates with me. This episode will help you out on what to do if you have rbf and also what to do when you see others with rbf.

In this first episode, I open up about how we should all give ourselves the chance to try something new. I'll also chit chat a little about the inspiration behind the podcast but mostly this is where I talk about taking the chance to explore and learn more about ourselves. Hopefully, this will reach those who may need the encouragement to get out of your comfort zone and just believe in yourself.
