This week’s episode is a love letter to all my high achievers out there. Those humans who everyone else see’s as having it all together but who maybe internally are feeling less confident and self-assured than they might let off. This one’s for the perfectionists, who keep procrastinating on their dreams because they’re afraid of failure.
Maybe you’ve climbed the career ladder and got the gold star job but are still feel unfulfilled? Or are there big exciting whispers that are calling you to try something new but you’re scared to start over because that would mean stepping away from your current circle of validation?
When I tell you this episode is the spicy little boost you need right now, I mean it!!

This week I’m joined by absolute powerhouse and self-promotion extraordinaire (no joke), Stefanie Sword-Williams. I was first introduced to Stef back when I worked as a Buyer at ASOS and as her talk finished, I remember being blown away by not only her knowledge and confidence, but also in her ability to instil that confidence in every single person in the room.
Since then I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Stef on a more personal level and after leading a workshop together last year, I can confirm she is in fact one of the smartest people I know. No matter where you’re at right now, this episode will leave you feeling ready to shout about what you’ve got to offer from the rooftops.
In this episode we cover:
About Stef
Stefanie Sword Williams is the founder and author of F*ck Being Humble. She created the business to encourage individuals to be unapologetically proud of their achievements and overcome the fear of self-promotion. Named as Forbes 30 Under 30 in Europe, Stef talks have reached people in over 50 countries and she’s delivered workshops for global brands including Unilever, Google, Adidas, Unilever, Microsoft, Innocent, Vodafone, The Guardian, The BBC as well as spoken at conferences such as Cannes Lions Festival and D&AD New Blood. In 2020 Stef released her first book ‘F*ck Being Humble: Why self-promotion isn't a dirty word’ and also delivered a TEDx Talk on why the world needs to be a little less humble. Most recently she became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts following the significant contribution to social impact she has made since building F*ck Being Humble.
In 2022 Stef launched a community platform ‘This Might Help’ offering guidance, reassurance and peer-to-peer support to people who are helping others through mental health issues and trauma. Stef hopes to provide close the ‘support gap’ in the mental health industry by sharing resources that can support carers.

“I feel like I’m having a bit of a melt down” is one of the most common phrases I hear on a discovery call. And boy do I know what they mean when they say it. You know that feeling when you have all your sh*t together? Yeah, it’s the opposite of that.
Whether it be confusion about your relationship, overwhelm about what you should be doing next in your career or just cold, hard burnout- “melt downs” have a pretty negative connotation.
But what if I told you that they were actually completely necessary? Scrap that- powerful, life altering opportunities.
Whether you’re feeling a bit melty-downy at this very moment, or you just want to be better prepared next time you’re having a wobble, in this episode I share why I think we need to reframe our perspective on those moments and I also share my top tips on how you can use them to your advantage.

It's my second year in business and I'm hosting my own coaching tent at arguably the most famous music festival in the world. I know. I feel as "WTF" about that as you do. But let me tell you something... getting this opportunity at Glastonbury Festival wasn't a fluke or luck. There was a method to securing this huge dream that I laid out for myself and in this episode I share that with you, so you can apply and get achieving the big, scary, "maybe one day" goals of your own!
Now, if you're lucky enough to have been to Glasto, you'll know that cultural diversity isn't one of it's strong points. In this episode I also share how and why landing this gig feels like not only a huge one for me as an individual, but also for my fellow POC siblings who want to venture to places that haven't been presented as opportunities for us.
This is our time. And healing, wellness and spiritual environments are ours too.
To my allies listening, I hope this episode both reminds you how important it is to make the spaces you curate more inclusive, and also opens up conversations and opportunities to take action in doing so.
This is an important one and I hope you enjoy it.
If you do, a rate and review would be deeply appreciated!

This week, Kira Matthews- Queen of The Future Self joins me to talk all things manifestation. We met a year ago and have been like magnets creating magic together ever since. Our daily voice note conversations pop OFF and I knew it would be plain selfish of me to keep Kira’s wise words and energy all to myself. You’re going to want to grab a notebook and pen for this one and be prepared to take in all of the wisdom that this episode brings.
Together we unpack:
About Kira:
Kira Matthews is a Manifestation Coach who helps Founders, Creatives & Freelancers become Confident and UnStoppable**.** She’s also the author of the Sell-out 90-day Future Self Journal, and host of the No Room for Doubt Podcast, a show that’s been downloaded 21,000 times. It's my first ever episode and today I'm here to tell you that you need to be more self centred! I know what you’re probably thinking… really? Isn’t the world in this mess because individuals have been too selfish? Well, in this episode I break down the difference between being selfish and self centred and how I believe being more self centred can improve your career, relationships and overall quality of life.
The term 'self centred' has such negative connotations and (if the podcast name didn't already hint) I'm zealous about reframing what it means to choose yourself. We're done with generational patterns. We're not here to stay silent, build resentment and regret. I want you to speak out what's on your heart and feel confident enough to bring it to life. The more humans that feel empowered to share their needs, centre their dreams and radically breathe life into their desires in a healthy, positive way- the more beautiful the world will be.
So, if you struggle with people pleasing, have dreams that feel terrifying but that you would LOVE to bring to life and want help removing the fear associated with putting yourself first, buckle up and enjoy.
