He served as an area advisor for Men’s Bible Study Fellowship in Houston and East Texas and has contributed his leadership to various boards, including MD Anderson Cancer Center, CEO Forum, and Grace School of Theology. He continues to support his alma mater through roles on the Association of Former Students Board, the University Land Board, and the Engineering Advisory Board at Texas A&M.

Dr. Anderson received his Masters in Theology and Doctorate in Greek New Testament and Early Christian Literature from Dallas Theological Seminary.  He is the author of many books, including Maximum Joy, Triumph through Trials, Position and Condition, among many, including the book, Saving the Saved, an exposition of First Peter.
