#321: Faith In The Workplace

In this compelling episode of Saving Grace, host Carmen Pate sits down with Mark Albersโ€”former Corporate Senior VP of ExxonMobil and committed Christ-followerโ€”to explore how business leaders can pursue excellence, integrity, and purpose in their careers while finding lasting significance in Christ. Drawing from Scripture, personal experience, and leadership insights, Mark shares how he learned to lead from a place of fullness in Christ rather than striving for approval.

Mark Albers is a seasoned executive and committed Christ-follower whose life reflects a deep integration of faith and leadership. Raised in Texas and a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Mark holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He dedicated over 38 years to ExxonMobil, where he rose through the ranks to serve as Corporate Senior Vice President.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mark has remained actively engaged in ministry and community service. He served as an area advisor for Men’s Bible Study Fellowship in Houston and East Texas and has contributed his leadership to various boards, including MD Anderson Cancer Center, CEO Forum, and Grace School of Theology. He continues to support his alma mater through roles on the Association of Former Students Board, the University Land Board, and the Engineering Advisory Board at Texas A&M.

Rooted in the belief that our purpose is found in the One who created us, Mark brings a rich blend of corporate insight and biblical wisdom to every conversation, inspiring others to live with purpose, integrity, and grace.
