🎙️ Episode Title: Only in Sports
🎧 Podcast: We Could Be Wrong
In this emotionally charged episode, the team pulls back the curtain on how the current Trump administration has impacted them personally. The conversation turns unexpectedly raw, especially as head contributor Christopher opens up about a deep shift in his perspective. Known for his playful optimism and belief in unity, Chris now seems distant, disillusioned, and increasingly jaded. His once-hopeful voice has quieted into something more somber—resigned even—as he reflects on the administration's consequences, especially for the impoverished and communities of color who supported it. “They’re going to get exactly what they deserve,” he says, in a moment that stuns even longtime listeners.
The title Only in Sports ties back to a candid, behind-the-scenes conversation captured at the episode’s start and cleverly referenced at the end. Can you catch it?
Tune in to We Could Be Wrong, the political podcast that blends real talk, personal experience, and just enough humor to keep things grounded. Politics isn't just policy—it's personal. And yes, it does matter. So vote. Always.

And as normal – Today in History!
In this thought-provoking episode, our team sits down for a wide-ranging conversation that dives into some of the most polarizing issues of the moment. They unpack Trump’s battle with Harvard — is it fair and just? The discussion then pivots to the state of education: are teachers paid what they deserve, and are universities really preparing the next generation?
As the conversation deepens, the group debates the appropriateness of Trump’s latest pardon. Christopher raises a compelling question: why do the more educated and financially comfortable tend to be more disillusioned with Trump, while many working-class and less formally educated Americans remain fiercely loyal, even when Trump’s policies may ultimately harm them and their loved ones?
This episode explores the intersections of politics, education, class, and identity, and why belief in a leader can sometimes defy logic and personal interest.
Mahmoud solves the world's political problems, and Chris lashes out in jealousy for not saying it first. In this episode, we find out that a small room mirrors the big world's environment!
This is the show version of a loot box, come and check out what we said?

A lively, offbeat roundtable where we dive into the wild world of U.S. tariffs — breaking down the latest trade drama, cracking jokes, and somehow making economic policy actually fun. Think late-night banter meets Econ 101, with a side of group chat chaos.
We all missed you audience!
Our show delves into complex issues surrounding transgender acceptance, where well-meaning individuals trying to adapt to using proper pronouns face backlash for unintentional missteps. We also examine the case of Mahmoud Khalil, a permanent U.S. resident with a green card, married to an American with a child on the way, who was arrested. We question what this means for free speech rights, especially for non-citizens. Finally, we tackle Sunsue’s auto-pen scandal and explore how Anderson and the team navigate this controversy.”
Sunsue and Mike masterfully navigates as tensions build between these two veteran members who haven’t collaborated in over two years, mirroring the fractured political landscape. As they clash onstage, unresolved issues from their previous partnership come to light, creating a charged atmosphere. The narrative is further complicated by the discussion of the presidential address, which delves into the controversial relationship between democrats of the Congress who are the minority and the White House, symbolized by the the newly formed doge department — perhaps a figure of satire or symbolic representation of political absurdity.
Key moments, such as the heated confrontation between President Zelinski and President Trump in the Oval Office, reflect the fraying perception of American leadership on the world stage. The debate spirals into a larger reflection on how these tensions and public disputes might undermine America’s historic role as a beacon of democracy. Is America undergoing a cultural shift, where its principles of freedom and democracy are being questioned both domestically and internationally?
The show captures these concerns, not just in the verbal exchanges but in its exploration of whether the country is living up to its ideals. Through its characters and their confrontations, it challenges viewers to consider whether America is still the symbol of hope and democracy or if it is in danger of losing that status in an evolving global and political context.
In a gripping exploration of modern crises, this episode delves into the human stories that reveal the cracks in our society. From 900 families in Sweetwater, FL, forced to leave their homes with just $14,000 in compensation, to the lingering battles of a legendary Mike Tyson fighting beyond his prime, and the heated debates around transwomen in college sports—each issue raises urgent questions about fairness, dignity, and the direction we’re headed as a society. Are we improving or spiraling into deeper division and struggle?

America’s 2024 election marks a turning point in our national conversation, one that many saw coming but few expected would play out as it has. In the election of the 47th president, Donald Trump, Americans delivered a message of frustration with what many feel is an overly sensitive culture around free expression, speech, and identity. Across youth demographics and communities of color, a significant shift showed up in support—one that surprised even those who had anticipated this election’s unique dynamics.
For those who supported the other side, these feelings and concerns are deeply valid. But this election demonstrates that pushing the pendulum too far toward cultural sensitivity without balance has stirred a backlash. Now, it’s time to give this administration a chance, trusting it to demonstrate care for issues like women’s rights and the rights of people of color, showing that these remain core to America’s values. However, moving forward also requires that Americans avoid severing connections over political disagreements; our nation has to heal, and it’s critical to bridge our divisions if we are to progress together.

Hey King of all Rants, I really value you and everything you bring to the team. You're such an important part of what we're doing, and honestly, we couldn't make the kind of progress we have without you. I can see how much you care, and that's one of the reasons I trust you so much.
That being said, I’ve noticed that sometimes your attitude can make things harder for us all. I know that’s not your intention, but it can be challenging to keep things moving smoothly when there’s tension. I need you to trust me and the plan we’ve put in place so we can help everyone we’re trying to serve. I don’t want to lose the momentum we’ve built, and with your support, we’ll be stronger together.
I’m not asking you to change who you are. I’m asking you to work with me, to trust that I’ve got this, and together we’ll be able to accomplish what we’re setting out to do.
