I just want to start off by saying Michael B Moynahan is a nice guy, so nice in fact that we invited him back for another year at Grand Comic Fest. You may know him from his run as Lookout Bear in the wildly popular children's show Zoobilee Zoo, or perhaps you recognize him from his role as Pee Wee Hutchins in the 1986 wrestling film Bodyslam. No matter where you know him from, you'll love this adventure into his career that includes stories about hanging out with Michael J Fox, what it's like to actually wrestle your favorite wrestler, his stint as a chanting monk, and working with Conan O'Brien. We also discuss his Beach Boys tribute band The Beach Toys before diving into some Zoobilee Zoo talk and wrapping up with with some talk about Grand Comic Fest. You won't want to miss this fun conversation with our good friend Michael B Moynahan, and you certainly won't want to miss Grand Comic Fest 5.

Deryl Skelton has worked 50 years in the comic industry and we are helping him celebrate. Join us as we get an inside look at the path that lead to this golden anniversary. You'll hear tales of his years at DC and Marvel and the folks who inspired him along the way, as well as his encounters with celebrities such as George Forman, Liberace, Siegfried and Roy, and not one but two Catwomen. Deryl tells us what it's like to tackle beloved franchises and have the people he is drawing give regular critiques. Did you know that he created the visuals for a Cyndi Lauper video? Hear all about it in this episode! If it happened in the comic world in the last 50 years, chances are Deryl either did it or has a story about it..... and we get to listen in as he reminisces about a half century of living his childhood dream.

There isn't anything in filmmaking that Wyatt hasn't done. He's a writer, a director, an editor, a visual and special effects artist... but that's not all, not by a long shot. He's acted in such notable franchises as Star Trek the Next Generation and Predator, he's built a spaceship for a Weirdo and crashed airplanes (or at least made them look crashed), hell... he's even made his very own (awesome) Batman film. Wyatt is a testament to what happens when you allow your drive, passion, talent and all the amazing people you've surrounded yourself with to work together to make dreams come true. The truly wonderful thing is, he has remained humble and grateful through it all. Join us as Wyatt shares some remarkable stories from his career and gives some solid advice for aspiring filmmakers who want to follow that same path.

Join us as we discuss his beginnings as a collegiate and pro athlete, his coaching career, his training and how he broke into the business and story after story of working in the business of professional wrestling. You will hear tales you have never heard before, and if you pay attention you might just learn a thing or two about life. Kathy Coleman joined us to discuss her vast career and give fans a sneak peek at what they might experience at Grand Comic Fest 5. She gives us some background on when she was touring with the Mike Curb Congregation (including an Omaha stop), her early audition process and life after Land of the Lost. We talk about the business of show business, her pony Comanche, giving back to the fans, her Land of the Lost family and what it's like to be an award winning author. Oh, there may be a little chat about crushing on a Sleestack. Kathy is just as excited to meet the fans as they are to meet her, quite possibly more. When you step up to the LotL booth you are in for an experience because she and Wesley believe in giving you a memory to take home, so swing by and say hi!

Many of us recognize Wesley Eure as Will Marshall from Land of the Lost, but I'm here to tell you that's just the tip of the iceberg. Do you know what role saved his life from a rollerskating street gang? Were you aware that he has performed with the Jackson 5 and was signed to Motown Records? Hear these tales and so much more including what it's like to work on a daily soap opera, spending a day teaching Lucille Ball how to play Password, how much Sid Kroft loves to talk and how Wesley is connected to the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW). We also discuss The Red Wings of Christmas, one of the many children's books he has written and the creation and impact of the PBS series Dragon Tales (you won't believe who named their kids after characters Wesley created). You will be inspired by his charity work and philanthropy; you will be amazed by stories that haven't been told, or even thought about, in years; and you will be charmed by the genuine kindness that just flows from our new friend Wesley Eure.

These days it seems reality shows are the norm, but where did this trend come from? Why do people think we love to see the drama and bullshit in their every day life? (We totally do by the way) And who in the hell paved the way for Gene Simmons to show us his Family Jewels every week? We're discussing the early days of reality TV this week on The Power Hour... and we talk about clown girls and cocaine bears too.... what else did you expect?

Well... we made it. This is the final episode of 2022, so we thought we'd do something a little different and give you an audio commentary to a couple of your childhood holiday favorites. Just press play and you, yes YOU can groan to all of our bad jokes; marvel at just how little we know about pretty much everything; and wonder what the hell we are talking about when we go horribly off track... all this and more for the low low price of a couple hours of your time.
We would like to thank you for hanging with us for another year and hope that you and your loved ones have a wonderful holiday season no matter what you celebrate. We love you and wish you the best and we'll see you next year!

In the 80s and 90s there was a battle raging right in front of everyone's faces, although many of us didn't realize it. The two biggest soda manufacturers were waging war over who had the superior cola beverage. We were treated to amazing commercials, epic taste tests, and unbelievable give aways..... some are even too good to be true. Join us as we talk New Coke, Cool Cans, Pepsi Challenges and missing aircraft... all this and more on the Power Hour!

After a morning of game shows and Grandma's "programs" we would watch audiences gather to listen to a panel of guests be interviewed and ask them questions. Most of these shows started out as genuine journalistic endeavors.... but good taste quickly gave way to ratings and "trash TV" was born. Join us as we discuss all the big names in the talking game and some of the moments that you'll never forget. You might also be treated to a near brawl as your hosts debate the difference between Geraldo and Gerardo, trust me this one gets heated folks.....

In the 90s a couple of new networks emerged, and so did a new target audience. With this new focus, the teen drama and comedy genres were thrust into prime time. Join us as we discuss these television programs and the future superstars that made up their casts. In reality this episode is just an excuse for us to talk about Saved by the Bell a lot.... and we are SO excited!!

That's right, we're talking about that Real American Hero and the impact he had on our young lives. What can we say.... the last couple months have been crazy busy, but we didn't want to let spooky season pass by without at least one Halloween themed episode, so here it is.
Back in the day we used to get some amazing mash ups with legendary directors teaming up to make anthology films... and these are the most memorable of our yute. You may remember bits and pieces of some of these movies, perhaps a quote or two... but do you know the stories behind the scenes? We take a deep dive into some of our favorite films such as Creepshow, Cat's Eye, Twilight Zone, and even include what we consider to be a modern classic (just because we love it so much) Trick r' Treat. Maybe memories will emerge, maybe you'll discover new favorites... and maybe you'll have a good time. We're talking horror this week.... have a safe and happy Halloween!
