This is a complex topic. Kindred and Jo decided to approach this through their personal experiences as a young Black and Asian American, respectively. They are primarily talking about multiculturalism and race in the American context. (Kindred is in Alabama; Jo is in Southern California). 

There is more left to say because there is more left to consider, do, and experience regarding this topic as our lives continue to develop. We will return to this topic in a different way in the future. For the time being, we hope this episode opens up more conversations in your lives. Please let us know how those go ~

Meet Soo, Kindred's former college professor, and her daughter Lauren, her teenage daughter! Soo, Lauren, and Kindred are all from different generations and call one another friend! Their chat talks about how Lauren navigates making friends with older students at school, Kindred's friendship matchmaking powers, and why Soo thinks that power and culture are two of the biggest barriers to intergenerational friendships! Plus there is a fun announcement to start it all off!

Meet Josh, Kindred's younger brother! In this episode, Joshua and Kindred talk about their friendship as siblings, how Josh makes friends through video games, and their mutual love for cooking! This episode is the perfect balance of sentimental and silly! Enjoy.
