Growing up, I've always been told that life gets worse as you get older. Although I can't change what happens, I can change my mindset on certain situations. In today's episode, I talk about how shifting your mindset can help you see things differently.

Spending quality time with others is a great way to show how much you love and care about someone, so why not do the same for yourself? Spending time alone is so important, as it allows you to discover who you are and what you like and dislike. I believe this is super important as it's really easy to consume yourself with others, rather than taking care of you. Don't lose yourself in others.
I begin to discuss the importance of self care through the five love languages. For this episode, I start off with words of affirmation where I talk about how we can unintentionally be our own bully. We continuously bring ourselves down which knocks our self confidence, and belittles us. It's time to start loving yourself the way you would love others. Let's start taking care of ourselves and stop being harmful to you through the way you talk to yourself.
**TRIGGER WARNING** In this episode I talk about my insecurity about my weight and experiencing an eating disorder, I have since learnt the importance of looking after my body. I am someone whose body has changed a lot in weight over the years, so I critique and criticize the way my body looks. It's currently healthy, however I still sometimes find myself wishing I was skinnier but understand that it doesn't always mean healthier in terms of my body.
I know that when I go into a gym for the first time in a while, I always feel so anxious. I’m so nervous that people are going to judge me, it actually stops me going sometimes. If you have ever felt like this, I talk all about it in this episode.
We all have insecurities that we would prefer to hide, rather than letting others know about them. Throughout my journey as a teenager I have had multiple insecurities that have made me feel horrible, my acne being one of them. For years I tried to cover up my dark spots but was always unsuccessful, and still to this day I live with the same insecurity. I hope me being able to open up and share this secret helps you, whether you feel the exact same or share a common understanding with me. Just know you are not alone.
In this episode, I speak about my personal medical story and how it taught me to listen to what my body and mind were telling me. Learning to take care of yourself by listening to what you need is so important, especially when trying to become your highest potential. You are your future, so make sure you work on yourself as well as things you want to achieve.
In this episode I express how I sometimes feel lonely and, the different ways in which I experience loneliness. As humans we can sometimes crave interactions with other people, but can also appreciate our alone time. It's important to address when you feel lonely and reach out to others as they may feel the same. Speaking about your emotions can take time, so I hope this episode can help you with that journey and make you feel more comfortable, when opening up about your emotions.
