In August 2024, Amazon Prime released Batman: Caped Crusader, the latest animated series to star everyone's favorite Dark Knight Detective. The series boasts quite the pedigree of creators; longtime fans of DC Animated projects will recognize the names Bruce Timm and James Tucker.  Filmmakers, J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Lost) and Matt Reeves (The Batman, Cloverfield)!also executive produce along with comic giant Ed Brubaker. This series sets Gotham City during the 1940s and follows a young Batman in the beginning stages of his crime fighting career.
