Kris and Kristin met on Tik Tok, and knew immediately that it was more than their names that made them drawn to do this work together.

Kris and Kristin share a brave and impactful conversation about helping others heal, even when the odds are highly stacked against them. They discuss ways of finding connection and support, and most importantly, a commitment to a journey of self-love.
Kris is the founder of the group S.O.S., which stands for Survivors of Survivors, which she began to support other adult survivors of mothers or parents who were sexually abused.

A raw and powerful discussion with Tara Grace, known as Burn the Stigma Tara on social media, highlights the seldom talked about dangers of 12-Step recovery, especially for trauma survivors.
Kristin and Tara have a brave talk about what is happening behind the scenes in 12-Step recovery, that is causing damage to some survivors of sexual trauma.
Both Kristin and Tara have been admonished for their honesty about their experiences within the program, making it very treacherous to be open and honest about their experience.
Lifting the veil and telling their truth in this episode, it is their hope that other survivors will be educated and guided to safer, trauma-informed methods of recovery.

Kristin has a very powerful discussion with content creator and MAT Recovery advocate, HR Megzz. Known and loved for her advocacy work on social media, HR Megzz has made it her life's purpose to end the stigma associated with MAT (Medically Assisted Treatment) Recovery. Twelve years ago, she chose to live, heal and thrive, and today, she helps others to do the same by de-mystifying and educating others about MAT Recovery, facts about addiction, and making sure that every one that she touches knows that they too, deserve to LIVE!

From a checkered past, feeling like she didn't belong, to creating a vast community on social media, Moe has risen above the fire to tell her story of healing from trauma, sobriety and adversity.
When she came out as gay, she was shunned, and faced much adversity as a young, single mother. She bravely shares her journey from young adulthood to today, where she rose above the flames of abandonment, being turned on by her community, while she was being held in the fire of a toxic relationship. Above it all, she persistently rose, to begin her healing journey.

When Kristin first heard Ryan's absolutely wild opiate recovery story, she knew that he had to be a guest to talk about his rather "unconventional" method to recover and heal from a 7-year opiate addiction that nearly took his life.
Both Kristin and Ryan strongly support Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Recovery and harm reduction, and wanted to have a very candid and rather vivid discussion about what it is really like to survive and recover from opiate addiction.

When Kristin heard Mel Robbin's talk about the "Let Them" Theory on a podcast, a lightbulb went off in her head. She has (admittedly) been doing it all wrong in dating, relationships and friendships.
She learned about the "Let Them" theory, applied it to her life, and saw a complete shift in how she shows up in the world, and how less complicated her life became. She realized, she was no longer in charge of teaching and instructing people how to treat her, and she can choose her own behavior accordingly.
Kristin also shares a discussion about belonging, and why belonging is so important to us as humans. How to belong without losing yourself in the process is the topic of the discussion.
