In this episode we will try to understand the meaning of the Quranic teaching that one day in the sight of Allah, the Almighty is equal to 1000 years and also 50,000 years.The concept of time as per the current scientific knowledge is also dealth with as per the context of these Quranic verses. A comparison of the Quranic and Biblical teachings in relation to this topic is also highlighted briefly with proper reference to the related scriptural chapters and verses.

In this episode the steps taken by Prophet Muhummed (SAW) in the light of Quranic teachings for emancipation of slaves present during that time and for the abolition of deep rooted institution of slavery is discussed and how Islam restored human dignity. The meaning of the phrase " mamalakat iymanakum ( what your right hands posses)" as used in the Holy Quran is explained alongwith the answer to the allegation that the Quran gives permission to keep slave women as concubines.
