Over the next three weeks, we'll be looking at the three, distinct persons of the Trinity - The Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit - and we'll be diving in to what makes each one unique and hopefully give us a better understanding of how they function, and relate to us. This week we'll be looking at God the Father... who is LORD, and whose graciousness brings us near, even when our sin should separate. He knows us, knows what we want, what we need... and has compassion on us for all we don't know, and all we can't accomplish on our own. He is eternally patient with us, and slow... to... anger... knowing who we are, how much life can overwhelm us... He is for us, what we could never be for ourselves... slow to anger, and full of peace in the midst of chaos.
Our passage today is: Psalm 145:8
