The interview offers significant insights into what may be unfolding, as Al-Qaeda sleeper cells could be activating in the wake of the New Orleans terrorist attack and a possible vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) in the rear of a rented Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside Trump’s hotel in Las Vegas just hours later.

Ryan asked Adams: “I just want to clarify. You are 100% certain that there are 1,000 plus Al-Qaeda-trained fighters within the US borders?”

Adams, currently a global threat advisor with extensive experience in Middle Eastern affairs, responded: “Well, Al-Qaeda says they trained and deployed a thousand for this attack. First off, I think there are more than a thousand Al-Qaeda members in the United States, but for the Homeland Attack, that number is based on what Al-Qaeda is saying, so they could exaggerate it; however, they did have about 1,400 in the Hamas Attack so the number is not off from what they did in the first round of attacks.”

Federal authorities and investigative teams are probing a potential military connection between a US Army veteran who displayed an Islamic State (IS) flag and was described as “hellbent” on causing maximum damage by steering a Ford F-150 Lightning (EV) into a crowd on Bourbon Street, killing at least 15 people and injuring dozens, and another US Army veteran who drove an explosives-filled Tesla Cybertruck that detonated almost like a VBIED outside Trump’s Las Vegas hotel just hours after the Bourbon Street massacre.

Two law enforcement sources familiar with the New Orleans truck-terror-ramming attack and the Las Vegas incident told NBC News that federal investigative teams are probing a potential military connection between the two individuals involved in both attacks.

New Orleans terror suspect Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, who died in a subsequent close-range firefight with police after the ramming attack, was a US national and Texas resident. He worked in the US Army’s human resources and information technology departments between 2006 and 2020, including a deployment to Afghanistan in 2009.

The US Army veteran suspected of detonating a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas was a supporter of the Ukrainian nationalist cause, according to a photo posted on Facebook.

Thirty-seven-year-old Matthew Livelsberger was killed and seven bystanders injured when the Cybertruck he was driving exploded outside the hotel on Wednesday. Tesla CEO Elon Musk attributed the blast to explosive materials transported in the truck’s bed, and the FBI is investigating the incident as a potential act of terrorism due to its proximity to the Trump International Hotel and a similar attack in New Orleans earlier that day.

In a photo purportedly shared by Liveslberger’s wife on Facebook in 2016, the former soldier can be seen wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with a Ukrainian coat of arms and the slogan “Slava Ukraini,” or “Glory to Ukraine.”

Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a US Army veteran who is suspected of being behind the New Orleans terror attack that resulted in 15 deaths, was “100% inspired” by Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS), the FBI confirmed on Thursday. He supposedly recorded a series of videos in which he pledged allegiance to the group, CNN reported on the same day, citing multiple officials.

The FBI is now digging deeper into the suspect’s radicalization path, a deputy assistant director of the bureau’s counterterrorism division, Christopher Raia, told a news conference on Thursday morning. He also said that investigators believe Jabbar acted alone.

“We do not assess at this point that anyone else is involved in this attack other than Shamsud-Din Jabbar,” Raia said. US President Joe Biden had said that federal investigators were examining a “possible connection” between the New Orleans attack and an explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck in Las Vegas that took place on Wednesday.

An interstate highway in South Carolina has been shut down as authorities respond to a bomb threat involving an 18-wheeler, the governor’s office has confirmed.

The ongoing incident unfolded at around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon near Greenville.

State and local authorities swarmed I-85 near mile marker 44 and blocked traffic in both directions.

“I-85 NB and SB in Greenville is closed near MM 44 due to an incident. Both sides of the I-85 are closed until further notice. Detours are posted, but the public is urged to avoid I-85 in this area until further notice,” South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway announced on social media just before 5 p.m. local time.

Aerial footage circulating on social media shows a number of law enforcement vehicles parked a substantial distance from a tractor-trailer sitting in the roadway near an off-ramp.

“I-85 near mile marker 44 is temporarily closed out of an abundance of caution due to a bomb threat issued during a routine traffic stop this afternoon by SC Transport Police,” Gov. Henry McMaster’s office explained in a statement posted to social media.

The man suspected of carrying out a cybertruck bomb attack outside of Donald Trump’s hotel in Las Vegas was reportedly dead from a gunshot wound before the explosion happened, police claim.

At a press conference Thursday, Las Vegas police revealed they discovered via the coroner’s office that suspected bomber Matthew Livelsberger, a former US Army veteran, “had sustained a gunshot wound to the head prior to the detonation of the vehicle.”

“One of the handguns was found at his feet inside of the vehicle,” police added.

On New Year’s Day multiple people were shot at the Amazura nightclub in Jamaica, Queens, New York City. While some sources put the number of individuals struck in the attack at 10, others say 12 or 13, but no critical injuries or fatalities have been reported. The New York Police Department (NYPD) quickly stated that this was not a terrorist attack, likely as it happened on the same day that 15 people were killed in a terror attack in New Orleans, Louisiana and a Tesla Cybertruck exploded in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to police, four males walked up to the New York City club and shot over 30 times at people standing in the line outside the venue. Multiple 911 calls around 11:18 pm reported several people were shot at the event, which about 90 were in attendance at.

The suspects then ran westbound on 91st Street towards 143rd Place. They got in a light-colored sedan with out-of-state plates.

According to Fox News, six females and four males were injured in the attack, but none are in critical condition.

Steve Bannon lit into tech billionaires on his show Friday after Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk defended the use of H1-B visas to bring high-skilled migrant workers into the U.S.

Ramaswamy sparked a civil war within the MAGA world on Thursday when he made the argument that the U.S. needs to import high-skilled workers as American culture has led to mediocrity in the population.

“Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer),” wrote Ramaswamy after several MAGA influencers slammed President-elect Donald Trump’s hiring of a prominent Indian American tech executive into his administration.

Bannon spoke with MAGA influencer Rogan O’Handley, aka DC Draino, and characterized the ongoing battle as “populist, nationalist versus elite globalist.”

“Now, when you say we’re going to work this out, you guys are going to get– [Laura] Loomer is on here. She’s banned. They’re trying to ban Gavin Wax. You’re going to be banned eventually by the ‘free-speech absolutist,’” Bannon began, noting Musk’s X was stripping the verification of commentators on the far-right who had criticized him.

“The nerds don’t take criticism. They’re kind of, you know, they’re a little bit all on the spectrum, right? They don’t know– they’re not deep in social skills,” Bannon continued, swiping at Musk and tech bros like Peter Thiel and Ramaswamy. He added:

And I say you can’t run a country by algorithm. You can’t run a country by the nerds that create and target– their companies all employ a handful of people. Right. They’re all math, you know, they’re all mathematicians, all about algorithms.

DC Draino and Steve Bannon had a candid conversation on Friday’s WarRoom about the confusing and controversial moves by Elon Musk since Christmas. They were particularly concerned about Musk’s recent actions on X, which was once a platform for free speech but has now started censoring users over comments about H-1B visas and broader immigration policies.

DC Draino was visibly frustrated by the moves Musk has made. "You can’t call yourself a free speech platform and then censor people,” he said.

The issue? Recently, posts and comments about H-1B visas have been posted, with some people pushing for more immigration and foreign workers. These topics are especially touchy right now because they hit at the heart of the America First movement and the populist-nationalist agenda.

Musk’s actions, including blocking or limiting posts about these issues, have confused people. "How can X claim to be the place for free speech if it’s shutting down honest discussions about immigration?” DC Draino asked. He’s been particularly vocal about the hypocrisy of elites who push for more foreign labor while ignoring the struggles of American workers.

DC Draino didn’t hold back. He argued that elites, especially the tech giants, have no real understanding of what the American people are going through. They’re pushing for more H-1B visas but doing it because they want cheap labor. "It’s all about money for them. It’s about keeping their pockets full,” DC Draino said. But what about the American workers? What about the communities suffering from outsourcing and illegal immigration?

Bannon agreed. He called out Musk, saying that it’s disappointing to see someone who claims to support free speech censoring people over their views on immigration. "We’ve been fighting for American sovereignty, for American workers. And now we’ve got Musk jumping on the globalist bandwagon?” Bannon asked. He continued, saying that Musk’s recent actions are a sign that the elites, like him, don’t care about what’s best for the American people. Instead, they’re more concerned with profits and global networks.

The right has been at odds with Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy — who President-elect Donald Trump tasked with leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — after the men came out in support of immigration visas for high-skilled workers. According to critics, that support is in direct conflict with Trump’s promise to end the H-1B visa program that allows those workers to be legally employed in the U.S.

On Friday, Laura Loomer joined Bannon’s show where the two continued calling out Musk and Ramaswamy for their support of migrant workers.

As noted by MeidasTouch editor in chief Ron Filipkowski, Bannon has been critical of Musk for similar issues in the past. Back in 2023, he labeled Musk a “globalist” while sounding the alarm on his ties to American adversaries.

“Elon Musk, once again, brother,” Bannon said, “I’m smart enough to tell you, ‘No,’ to your face, and I’m evil enough to be able to expose you as a running dog for the greatest enemy this nation’s ever had. You’re a war profiteer. You’re sleeping with the enemy, brother, and you’ve been doing it because all you — you’re not an American nationalist. You’re not even an American. All you are is a globalist, OK, a globalist; and you will go where everybody — anybody writes you a check and you would take it from Adolf Hitler himself because you’re taking it from people that are as bad as Adolf Hitler — the murderous regime of the Chinese Communist Party, which you praised on their 100th anniversary.”

Elon Musk has sharply criticised “hateful, unrepentant racists” within the Republican Party, calling for their removal as tensions rise over the H-1B visa debate. The Space X founder's response came after a Democrat accused the party of treating Indian Americans 'differently.' Musk supported legal immigration, and weighed in on the growing divide in the GOP, siding with allies like Vivek Ramaswamy.

Donald Trump has appointed five Indian-Americans to his 2.0 cabinet, including Vivek Ramaswamy (leading the Department of Government Efficiency), Kash Patel (director of the FBI), Harmeet Dhillon (assistant attorney general for Civil Rights), Jay Bhattacharya (director of the National Institutes of Health), and the most controversial, Sriram Krishnan (senior White House policy advisor on Artificial Intelligence).

Krishnan's appointment and stance on the green card issue faced criticism from some far-right activists and pro-MAGA supporters like Laura Loomer and other social media personalities.

A civil war has erupted within Trump World over the contentious issue of visas for highly skilled workers, with President-elect Donald Trump finding himself caught between his anti-immigration MAGA base and his new Silicon Valley allies, including Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Despite the massive tension less than a month before ascending the Oval chair, Trump appears to have picked a side—leaning toward Silicon Valley’s vision for a more open high-skilled immigration policy.

Back in June, during the ‘All In’ podcast, he proposed, “Anybody graduates from a college, you go in there for two years or four years, if you graduate, or you get a doctorate degree from a college, you should be able to stay in this country.”

“I think you should get, automatically as part of your diploma, a green card to be able to stay in this country. That includes junior colleges, too.”

The debate flared when Trump announced Sriram Krishnan’s appointment as a White House policy adviser on artificial intelligence. Krishnan faced immediate backlash from MAGA voices after his November post advocating for immigration reform surfaced: “Anything to remove country caps for green cards / unlock skilled immigration would be huge.”

Far-right commentator Laura Loomer criticized Krishnan, claiming his views supported “foreigners being able to come to the US and take jobs that should be given to American STEM students.”

H-1B visa program, which grants temporary work authorization to highly skilled foreign professionals, primarily in tech fields. Critics in Trump’s MAGA base argue the program undermines American workers accompanied by overtly racist rhetoric against Indian immigrants, who make up 72% of H-1B recipients.

The past couple of days have exposed a fissure in Donald Trump’s coalition over H-1B visas, used by major tech firms and some major media congloms to lure highly skilled workers to employment in the United States.

“That pretty much sums it up,” Musk wrote on X on Thursday evening. “This was eye-opening.”

Musk was responding to a post in which an X user wrote, “So basically the right split into two factions, tech right and right right, and the tech right is like ‘hey we need h-1b visa people to do the jobs,’ and the right right was like ‘no you need to hire americans,’ and the tech right is like ‘but you guys are retarded,’ and the right right is like ‘well you don’t train us,’ and the tech right is like ‘you can’t outtrain being retarded,’ and while all this was going on we learned some people *really* don’t like Indians.”

A Florida sheriff praised a local resident who opened fired during a home invasion carried out by two ‘migrants,’ at least one of whom was in the U.S. illegally, according to authorities.

The harrowing incident unfolded at around 9 p.m. on Thursday night in Bradenton, a city in Manatee County.

A male homeowner reportedly observed two men breaking into his residence and urged his wife to seek refuge while retrieving a firearm.

The man subsequently shot at the suspects, striking one who later succumbed to his injuries.

The second suspect fled the scene but was quickly apprehended a short distance away.

He was identified as Michel Soto-Mella, a Chilean national who is illegally present in the U.S.

The US State Department’s Global Engagement Center (GEC) has shut down after Republicans cut its funding. The agency was responsible for spreading propaganda abroad and, according to conservatives, censoring dissident thought at home.

The GEC announced on Monday that it would cease operations by the end of that day. “The State Department has consulted with Congress regarding next steps,” the statement added.

The organization employed around 120 people and had an annual budget of $61 million. Established in 2016, its stated goal was to “recognize, understand, expose, and counter foreign state and non-state propaganda and disinformation efforts.”

In practice, the GEC spearheaded complex propaganda campaigns of its own. In two campaigns, the agency funded video games aimed at teaching children about the supposed dangers of anti-American narratives, releasing them in the UK, Ukraine, Latvia, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.

During the coronavirus pandemic, the GEC funneled money to a range of NGOs which then compiled lists of social media accounts supposedly spreading “disinformation” about the virus and its origins, which were then presented to the platforms to be banned or removed. Many of the accounts belonged to what Twitter’s former trust and safety chief, Yoel Roth, called “ordinary Americans,” raising concerns among conservatives that the GEC was violating its prohibition on operating within the US.

A Colombian illegal with a rap sheet was arrested following a brutal attack on a police officer in New York City during which he allegedly ranted about his hatred for female cops, according to reports.

The disturbing incident unfolded at around 6:45 a.m. on Monday morning at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan.

Authorities say Juan Jose Valencia, 30, used hand gestures to mimic firing a gun at a Port Authority police officer near the entrance to the terminal.

The rookie cop approached Valencia and he flew into a rage, claiming he was carrying a knife, the New York Post reports.

When the officer tried to handcuff Valencia, he reportedly tripped her then began to pummel her on the ground.

The suspect repeatedly punched the cop while voicing his “disdain for female police officers,” sources told the Post.

Democrat New York Governor Kathy Hochul posted photo op images to social media on Sunday, bragging about her schemes to “make” NYC subways “safer” on the same day where several extremely violent incidents took place inside the city’s famous trains.

Hochul shared images of herself speaking with police and military inside the NYC subway system, writing, “In March, I took action to make our subways safer for the millions of people who take the trains each day. Since deploying the @NationalGuardNY to support @NYPDnews and @MTA safety efforts and adding cameras to all subway cars, crime is going down, and ridership is going up.”

An illegal alien who was arrested for setting a woman on fire as she slept in a New York City subway car was previously deported by President Trump’s Border Patrol but snuck back into the country undetected and stayed in a Big Apple ‘migrant hotel,’ according to reports.

Following his apprehension on Sunday, authorities identified the suspect as 33-year-old Sebastian Zapeta, a Guatemalan national who entered the U.S. during the Trump administration under circumstances that were undisclosed at the time.

It has since come to light that Zapeta was caught after illegally crossing the southern border in June of 2018 and quickly deported six days later, Department of Homeland Security sources informed Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin.

Zapeta then reentered the U.S. at an unknown location, making him one of millions of ‘gotaways’ lurking across the country.

An illegal immigrant from Guatemala has been arrested for killing a woman by setting her on fire as she slept inside a subway car in New York City this weekend, according to reports.

The shocking attack unfolded at around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday morning at Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station in Brooklyn.

“As the train pulled into the station, the suspect calmly walked up to the victim, who was in a seated position at the end of a subway car… and used what we believe to be a lighter to ignite the victim’s clothing, which became fully engulfed in a matter of seconds,” NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch explained during a press conference on Sunday afternoon.

Tisch called the killing “one of the most depraved crimes one person could possibly commit.”

Footage captured by multiple witnesses has been circulating on social media.

The New York Police Department announced that it has arrested a man in a vehicle with obscured license plates in the early hours of Wednesday morning. NYPD officers found Judd Sanson, 27, in the black Ford Explorer armed with a 9mm pistol and in possession of several high capacity magazines, knives, axes a stun gun, a whip, collapsable baton and handcuffs with both NYPD and Metro Transit Authority vests along with a “Guy Fawkes,” popularized by the film “V for Vendetta.”
