We just finished reading and discussing The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins in 8 Language Arts, and the students have something to say about it! Listen in on their takeaways from the novel, and a special segment from two of our very own.
Well, we’re late, but the content is still incredibly average! We got to record this on our date night—thanks Mimi!—and probably had too much fun. We talk about our newfound freedom, the insignificance if time, and whatever else comes up.
In this episode, we share our love and appreciation for our mothers, and talk about momma Kas’ experience on her first Mother’s Day. Also, the last 5 minutes includes the sound of me trying to burp Porter. He saw me doing that to Louie and just had to try for himself!
This episode, we catch up with an old friend, Adam Blair. He’s been enjoying time still working as an assessor, doing projects with his fiancé and his golden retriever (Kenzie and Hamilton, respectively), and keeping up with new music (Larry Fleet is the newest name here!) and Ozarks on Netflix (#teamruth). Can’t wait to see this gang in person again!
This episode, we try something novel and innovative, and, quite frankly, completely unfamiliar to us. Or to me at least. That new thing is structure.
