At around 4:10 a. m. a large section of Turtle Mountain collapsed. This massive rockslide came rushing down the mountain burying the town of Frank beneath tons of debris. Families businesses and homes were lost in an instant. The event forever changed the lives of the people in that area leaving a tragic mark on history. When you drive through this area you can see the remains of the rock that came crashing down, and get a feeling for natures strength.
